Great game. High skill ceiling, but at the same time a high skill floor, so I recommend looking up a video beginner's guide to get started. Also, be willing to reach out to people for help, and learn from them in chat or watching how they do things. Very addicting once it clicks!

Joyway always feels like they're biting off more than they can chew. Always moving on to another game without finishing what they started. Guess I've learned my lesson not to buy their undercooked games without promised features.

Killed this game with the epic matchmaking update and it looks like they desperately want to kill payday 3 even before it's out by adding always online requirements and denuvo, so nice to see my most played steam game's franchise killed off. No thanks with that BS

Doesn't work on steam deck, even though it would be a great game to play there, likely due to anticheat/uplay launcher

Game is fun but...
1) Requires a Microsoft account login with no way to connect it to your steam account
2) Signs you out if you sign in on another computer
3) Has cloud saves, but they are manual instead of automatic
4) Requires an internet connection to start the game
5) Has issues connecting to friends' games sometimes
6) Crashes often on desktop Linux (but seems to work just fine on steam deck)
Most of these should be somewhat easily fixable in an update, and would make the game much better.

These issues are mostly overlook-able if you are going to only play on one computer that's always online, but if you want to play at home on your computer and then play some more on the go with the same save on a steam deck, it's a pain, and without an internet connection, you can't...
