incredibly underrated survival game, its really simple to just pick up and play, and its pretty damn difficult too lol

easily the most fun VR game ive ever played, with the best gore in a VR game ive seen, by far.
one thing that i love about it, is that the grabs on items are pretty much freeform, so i can use weapons and items and any way i want, and thats really fun!

this has the most janky, uncomfortable guns ive ever used in a VR game, which sucks, because it has the potential to be FAR better, with how all the physics of it work.

i never even got to use the visual scripting because the game seemingly crashed? it was still open in the background, but i couldn't do anything.

either way, shows potential, but i mean, its been nearly a year since first release and its still this bad? thats not good.

pissed off some cultists and they followed me home to my cabin in the woods, so i had a last stand and killed 10 of them with a shotgun before i ran out of ammo and had to kill the last 3 with nothing but a box cutter.

later that night i ♥♥♥♥ myself to death because of cholera.

genuinely some of the most solid and weighty melee combat ive ever played with, amazing game, definitely worth the money

The BEST survival game i have ever played, and its only getting better. the development is a bit strange, and a little slow, but its almost always worth it.
i understand why this has a lot of negative reviews, as this game used to be a lot jankier and broken, now its a lot more polished, and its still getting updated biweekly!
its a lot like DayZ, it used to be very broken, but has gotten vastly better in recent times.

anyway, TL;DR, if you liked DayZ, you'll love SCUM!

hands down, the best horror game i have ever played, and probably will ever play in my entire life.

i genuinely wish i was better at expressing myself so i could give this game justice, and thats part of the reason it took me so long to finally write this review, i could never find the words to describe it.
i rarely ever review games, and when i do, its usually a joke review. this is different.
i have had this game since 2017, and have only just now gotten around to writing a review for a number of reasons.

anyway, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about me aside, best horror game ever, up there with silent hill and resident evil.
best soundtrack ive heard in a game, too.
