A fantastic game ruined by greedy developers.

Game crashes constantly regardless of your PC's specs, optimization is horrific, and if you can survive the endless loading screens you'll crash in mission throwing a flashbang or reloading. Pretty sure the devs just cashed out with the latest DLC and dipped. Save your time and money.

Wasted potential. It was fun.

Getting the love for this series out of the way, I first played Dead Frontier when I was in middle school. Some nights I'd stay up too late and sneak on to the family computer to play games. I found Dead Frontier on accident while I was trying to find a completely different game and I have loved it since I created my account so you could imagine that I was excited to see years later that Dead Frontier 2 had been released! It was a rough start for the game. Content was slow, the gameplay was drastically repetitive, and communities were under development without much publicity aside from the official discord to the best of my knowledge. For a free to play game in it's early months it was smeared with a hate train that I could never truly understand. A free game. Now there has been a turn! More content has been put into the game since then and the frequency of updates is tremendously improved since the release and though they are not always jam packed with fantastic integrations they are sufficient for a free game. This game has come a long way since it's release and it's lynching so I recommend you give it a try if you haven't already. Be aware, it will be a slow climb alone so find or create groups to work together and rise through prestige. Thank you for taking the time to read this review.
