Apex is a great addition to the Battle Royal genre. When considering a BR(Battle Royal) to get into, it's hard to not compare games like Fortnite, Warzone, and other popular BRs. Apex holds multiple advantages over those games, depending on what you're looking for. In comparison to Fortnite, Apex Legends' looting system is superior in many ways. First off, weapon attachments are more important than the specific guns you pick up, meaning every gun is viable and you wont have to drop your favorite weapon for a higher tier. When stacking up to War Zone, Apex is a much more casual game, boasting lower time between games, shorter rounds, and a lack of custom load outs. War Zone suffered from a defined meta, making all, but about 6 guns not viable. Apex always feels fresh due to any weapon being usable and the fact that it's a hero shooter. Apex has many legends to choose from, all with different abilities and flavors. While there are many characters that make the game unpredictable and interesting, gun skill and movement prowess triumphs over abilities keeping the game balanced. If you're looking for a game that is easy to get into and rewards players who put in time, Apex Legends is the game for you.
