A Vast Yet Shallow Ocean
-Overhyped, overpriced & underwhelming
-Poor optimization
-Not as advertised (No multiplayer)
-Rinse & Repeat grindfest
-Ultimately aimless & counterproductive

It will only be a few short hours before you're questioning whether or not the grind is worth it. Save up and buy a new ship? Why? To explore an endless ocean of space with reskinned planets, animals and NPCs? One of the driving forces behind the hype of this game was this question of "What if?" when pertaining to multiplayer. And although "unlikely" due to the sheer size of the game (which now feels like a mathmatical alibi), it fueled player's curiosity. Since that has been debunked without a clear statement as to why from the developers, your only real objective in the game is to explore an infinity; which in reality seems pointless, aimless and ultimately counterproductive. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. The only "different result" you'll get in this game is a randomly generated planet and animal that feels more like an insincere mathmatical Frankestien concoction than a genuine discovery! This game had (and still may have) a massive opportunity to give people the online space game they've been waiting for. However, it just falls short. 'No Man's Sky' is lightyears away from a $60 price.
