my favorite diablo-like

This game will always have a special place in my heart. I think in total I have spent double the hours of the time shown on Steam back on my old childhood PC before I even knew what Steam was.

If you can look past how outdated the graphics and gameplay are, the fantastic storyline and character development will hopefully still suck you in as much as it did me. If you still dare to play this game 20 years after release, I would recommend installing the Restoration mod for this game, as it restores some left out content and fixes a bunch of annoying bugs in the game which could softlock you if unprepared - even then, save often!

I wish I could play this game for the first time again, it's such an amazingly unique experience. It was released on my birthday last year, one of the best birthday gifts ever I'd say!
Buy it and try it, avoid reading too much about the plot. It's a storytelling and space exploration game.

I heard the keyboard controls are a bit messy, so I'd advise playing it with a controller.

This game is absolutely stunning. Amazing story, soundtrack, gameplay. It just has it all. I think it is in many ways a step up from Blind Forest, but then we're talking about Will of the Wisps being a near 10/10 instead while Blind Forest was a 9.5/10 game for me. Play both games for sure!

played this game for hundreds of hours on my old disk, still yearning for a remake or a sequel over here :')

It just costs way too much money to be playable and/or enjoyable, it's honestly ridiculous.
