i didn't think i would like this change to turn-based as much as i have
it has some issue with clarity of finding some key items i feel sometimes
but beside that really fun game managing time and some survival mechanics preparing and researching
and exploring all very engaging and fun since everything you loot will probably have some use as a resource
so if a hard (if you choose) survival dungeon crawler-esque horror themed turnbased game sound good to you give it a try

I am enjoying it so far its tough and not for everyone
i see people complain about the free to play
but if it was not free my friends would never have tried it
and if i want the restrictions gone i can buy it

it does have issues but its also early access

so far enjoying it some things might be worse than 1 and some things better i am not very far yet
the performance seem to be a issue for some not me but that is a valid issue
not easily being able to start a new game is annoying (its possible tho) hopefully they will fix
and as for microtransactions basically same as with Devil may cry or monster hunter which are reviewed well and i would say the things you can buy are kinda irrelevant just ignore it

so not saying there are not issues especially if performance is as widely poor as some state but also feels a bit exaggerated with some of the other issues

i liked the setting of the game a lot
and the metroid-esque exploration
and gameplay is fine for the most part

what i didn't like which is somewhat subjective
the goofy very not serious tone of the game i would forgive if 1 person didn't take it serious but barely anybody does
also sure exploring and stuff can be cool but despite being very pretty the office look kinda makes everything look the same so hard to tell where you have been
and the ending didn't do much for me partly cause nothing has really been taken very serious so didn't really feel there was anything at stake
i struggled with the bosses i don't really feel they were good but i might just be a scrub
so for me if i were to give a number its a 6.5 and if im more charitable a 7

Love this game if you like immersive sim games kinda like bioshock but instead sci-fi in space
i think you would enjoy this

this game has issues i hoped they would have fixed more of them but seems about as bad as when i bought it
for a game so reliant on physics they are terrible just attempting to stand on a box to get to higher places is kinda a nightmare
cause the box will slide all over the place and yeah that only gets worse when you stack boxes also you can throw water bottles to extinguish torches but like a third of the time you try it will bounce off the torch and then shatter some other place you dont intend
also i keep getting a female character despite me choosing a male voice for some reason
and the brightness seems too high could be on my end though even the lowest setting looks very bright
i really want to enjoy this game and maybe some can overlook these issues and see the game underneath all that but its very hard

i kinda enjoy it as a brainless diablo thing but it is weird playing a offline MMO with parts of the UI still there just greyed out
and what ruins it is when i have no idea what causes it but sometimes frames just drop to 5 FPS and becomes a slideshow
then better but then it happens again i dunno if its some particles causeing it its very strange but happens far too often and even if i wanted to enjoy it having it drop to 5 FPS every 15 min or less is annoying

i really like the game now after the NEXT update there is a game here now one about exploring which might not be for everyone and i do think they could add more reason to do so and planets gets to feel a little bit samey but they are adding a lot of updates making it better and it does take awhile to get to where it feels a bit samey

Really enjoyed the world and lore of this i found it very interesting
in my opinion on a bad note very very little combat you can probably force more by doing more aggressive choices
combat was not the greatest either but i think its fine
and you will have to read A LOT which is fine if you are into the lore and world as i was
so ill recommend it if you might care for the world and story and care to read a lot
but not if looking for a lot of action from combat

I really enjoyed playing through this felt very engaging because you are always doing something crafting and research takes time so you cleanse some areas and explore then you come back to your base and make some better gear and repeat also with some base management and defending every junk you find can be turned into some resource
