Rocket League is a decent game. I've put in lots of hours over years. Even with changes that I do not like, I would still recommend the game.

I do not support Psyonics decision to sell the IP to Epic. I think that was a rash decision that is a long term disappointment to the community.

I also hate the blueprint system and will never use it. Myself along with lots of others will NEVER pay real money for in game items. Another short term money making scheme from the devs.

It's sad that Epic Games took it completely off the Steam Store just to have it on their own store. Very greedy.

The community is one of the most toxic as well. However, that part doesn't bother me as much as some of the other things I mentioned previously.

Pros:
Good graphics
Good mechanics
Fun to play

Cons:
Went free to play after merging with Epic
Servers are crappier than before the merge
Changed the population status to words instead of numbers (good, great, etc)
Inconsistent ping to servers even with good internet
Implemented forfeiting in causal to make a minority of people happy versus the rest of the community (ie, ranked with no rewards)
Devs have shown that they don't really care about what the community wants over the years through twitter (unprofessional in my opinion)
