Assassin's Creed Mirage is everything I hoped for as a fan of the series. It truly brings you back to the essence of what being an assassin is all about: stealth, precision, and strategy. Set in the rich, vibrant world of 9th-century Baghdad, the game does a fantastic job of immersing you in the life of Basim, a street thief turned master assassin.

What really sets Mirage apart for me is the Master Assassin game mode with permanent death. This feature adds an incredible layer of intensity, making every decision and action feel meaningful. You’re no longer just playing as an assassin—you’re living their perilous life. The high stakes made me more invested in every mission, and the fear of failure brought a thrill that I haven’t felt in the series for a long time.

The gameplay shines with its focus on stealth and parkour. The fluid movement system and tools at your disposal make navigating the city and stalking your targets a joy. Plus, the absence of RPG leveling systems feels like a breath of fresh air, keeping the focus squarely on skill and tactics rather than grinding for upgrades.

The world design deserves special praise—it’s dense and detailed, with a lively atmosphere that feels authentic to the era. You’re encouraged to explore and interact with the environment in ways that reward careful planning and creativity.
