While I think this game has had some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ post launch marketing, the game in my eyes is still as hype as the day it was at launch. I love the visuals, the game feel, I think the new heat system has made combos fun and the in game tension much higher. Tekken is an inherently stressful and annoying game, it always has been and it's just part of the deal, but to me that's part of the fun. There is nothing more rewarding then learning this game and all it's finer details and managing to rummage through the nonsense to become a great player. There is such a high level of skill expression and fulfillment that is so unique to Tekken. It's why it's one of the biggest FG's of the year and maybe of all time considering we're in a streaming era of the internet right now. Fundamentally I still think Tekken is a fantastic game and you can and probably should ignore the post marketing stuff. (I am a sheep don't be like me lol)
