Important to note that this game is still in Early Access.

The good things to say:

A realistic approach to boxing finally on Steam
A very in-depth post fight statistics menu and judge scorecard breakdown
A good pre-fight statistics menu, showing fighter strengths and weaknesses
Seems to run well for me (2080ti), but it seems like it could have more graphical settings to optimise for lower end PC's and the steam deck.
Punches feel like they can have power, and the details in landing punches is great
The 'finish them' system after damaging an opponent seems really good and works well
The game costs less than $50

The bad things:
The movement, whilst feeling fluid, is too 'slippery'.
At its current state, the best way to fight is counter punch, staying out long and jabbing doesn't pay off. For every 15 jabs you land, the opponent only needs 1 minor counter punch to beat you in the judges eyes.
The in between round system confuses me, even if I am the lesser active fighter, I lose more stamina and damage between rounds?
Understandably but disappointingly, there isnt much of a lineup of fighters
There is no KO replay
The commentators will repeat the same lines multiple times in the same round, every round
There isnt a way to efficiently block and or weave, doing both of these requires you to press 3 buttons at once, which with the way the controller is set up by default, is very uncomfortable
The default control scheme is weird, but it is changeable.

I think that this game will eventually be worth it, so I do reccommend. Its worth getting because its the only game of its type on Steam, assuming it gets better.
