The best Star Wars game evah

What did I buy....

CONS:

- Music is a weak point of this game:I think ALiens Colonial Marines has better like Aliens music.
- Story is also boring but not super bad.
- No atmosphere due to rubbish ambient soundtrack
- The game feels unfinished: no cinematic animations/video clips, characters dont use lips when they talk and rubbish music.
- gets boring super fast

PROS:
- locations looks absolutely stunning !!
- great sounds and some special effects

Now when I think about it I think ACM isnt such a bad game.
PPl complain about lack of textures in places where aliens come out from and instead there is just black spot but this game has the very same issue :D
Aliens ELite is still entertaining enough but dont pay the full price :)

Slightly different from original X-com but I like the originality.

Its basically SWAT 5 with slightly better gfx and frequent foul/vulgar language.
The 1st mission looks absolutely HORRIBLE in terms of gfx. Very disappointed by the way it looks.
The car models look absolutely terrible. Lots of low-res textures. To be honest when I first saw 1st mission I thought its just SWAT 4.1 alpha.
2nd mission looks way better in terms of gfx, same regarding 3rd mission although police car top light bar looks ridicilously bad :D
If you like SWAT 3 and 4 and dont mind the language you will like it.

CONS:
- quite a few low res textures (like its SWAT 4 era) for a game in 2024.
- ridicilous amount of vulgar language. Im surprised the lady who recieves phone calls doesnt use foul language in this game. Ridicilous ! Reaction of suspects is un-realistic but hey, lets make the game reallyyyyyy realistic and make all ppl swear. <facepalm>
- all missions feel the same. Never felt like there is smth exciting nor suprising or new eg remember in swat 4 when chopper leaves roof after dropping you off or swat truck removing door bar...there is nothing like that in THIS game (completed 13 missions). Just different locations and slightly different suspects.
- all car models in the game apart from swat truck look like someone couldnt care any less and believe me or not your grandmother could make better looking car models with less than a week.
- highly un-optimized in ver 1.1 !!!! Frames can drop down to 30 FPS on RTX 4060 while using only 50-60% of the GFX card resources !!!
- monotanous
- rather boring
- everything in the game is soooo STATIC and quiet (just watch any real mass shooting event response and you will know what i mean) eg. the Elephant stage...no people running panicking and screaming, no police and tv news helis above your head. Just you,suspects and static civiilians.


PROS:
- special effects eg. rain, fog, explosions, lighting really impressive

My rating:
4/10

(1 being just trash, 5 just an average game, 10 friggin amazing)


UPDATE:
PS: After recent upgrades to Unreal engine 5 the game is almost unplayable.
Freezes, crashes, suspects with invisible weapons, officers with invisible legs, dead suspects screaming and more hence 4/10 from 5/10.

Exaggerated portrayal of pseudo-fantasy world, viewed through a lens that highlights and amplifies its moral decay, violent and disgusting. It is GTA5 based in fake fantasy wanna be world.

Looks WAY TOO complicated when in the base.
I dont like it. Original x-com remake is way better, even in 2024.
Also I find it very boring and monotanous.

Lots of un-necessary violence. It has nothing to do with Tolkien's Universe, Middle Earth.

Yes

This game is unplayable, unless its designed ONLY to play using steering wheel.
- Extremely hard and pretty much every surface feels like ICE !
- Not exactly Colin MCRae PS1 ver. with better gfx ! (although cardboard trees still exist in this game :)
- Every time you move to another menu its "Connecting to server"...every frigigin time !
