Just buy it, very much worth the money.
This game sends a clear message to other companies that gaming is all about fun, not politics.
Everything about this game is perfect and the gameplay is smooth.
I have enjoyed every last second of the Campaign and i'll continue playing other game modes to enjoy it further.

Don't even try this dlc, it's unplayable.
Even if you build a huge vault full of everything a dweller needs, the npc's can't move around the vault, the pathfinding is broken, then also there's an unfixed CTD where molerats and radscorpions are bugged.
Bethesda just made this dlc and left it as is, didn't even bothered fixing it.
Yet another disappointment.

The "Next gen" update is pure misinformation and false advertising on Bethesda's part.
The update does NOT fix the bugs, it only adds more of them.
It also adds up to the scummy paid mods "creations" which are really low effort garbage and not worth any money to begin with.
It saddens me, a Fallout fan to see such a game being treated like this, especially when the game came out with a lot of cut content, like quests, locations, dialogue, making a huge chunk of the map and the story just wasted, plus the story and the ending was real lackluster since the writer and the team didn't do a good job at it, even so with cutting a ton of dialogue that could've made the story much more bearable.
They could've added back all that cut content, updated the graphics, fixed a lot of annoying bugs and finally they could've added a lot of stuff from Fallout 76, but here we are, after 10 years, the game is just been broken for many of us.
I disabled the update and gave the middle finger to Bethesda for doing such a poor job on handling such a good game, especially right after the TV show has gotten much attention and success.
Shame on you Bethesda.

I'll change the review to positive once Bethesda wises up and fixes the game for us all. Yet i doubt that will ever happen.

Love it or hate it, this game had the most circus launch which many of us Fallout fans will never forget.

Being the supposed "beta tester" in Bethesda's eyes, like every other player playing this game, i was beheld by unimaginable amount of bugs, glitches and engine problems which just made the game too spoiled for me, yet i soldiered on and found a pretty fresh world to explore.

Then there were problems: a world with no human npc's, an out of touch story only told by holotapes and terminals and of course duped items scandal. I could write on and on, but there's plenty of reviews covering all the issues, so i'll get to the present day.

After i got bored of the game out of disappointment for the first time, i decided to log back in right after Bethesda decided to yet again break Skyrim for us.

So in this present day i was beheld by the in-game popup reminding me about all things events, Fallout 1st subscription and of course their latest Atomic shop deals. (this pops up every time i log in the game, much like in ESO). I felt annoyed by that, yet i launched my character and started playing again.

I finished exploring the map, completed the base game main story and of course grinded for better gear, which the grind felt really frustrating, indeed i done the wastelanders storyline in order to get access to even better gear, but i was met with a problem: more grind. So in order to be good at the game, i had to stop playing the game and instead look up the guides to do everything as everyone else does (which killed all the fun).

Now i have all the weapons everyone has, armor with good stats and only bloodied build with all mutations. So what's wrong you might ask? Well for me, it felt like i was handed over the get good cheat and i didn't accomplish anything with just playing the game normally, i would've preferred to play in my own style with just power armor and laser weapons, yet my way of playing the game just meant that i had to waste time killing enemies which felt like bullet sponges, i still struggled with inventory management and continuously ran out of healing items. It all felt like i was being a loser and had to join the "git gud" club. (I even had to walk from one end of the map to the other, while being over-encumbered since the stash limit was continuously taunting me to get Fallout 1st)

So i did purchase Fallout 1st to see how much will it improve my game, it actually did and that's the problem.
Bethesda is a company, they make money, it's all they care right now. Their way of milking us fans is to ensure that we run into issues which will make us turn towards the supposed "time saver" mechanics locked behind the paywall. Fallout 1st introduces a scrap box, ammo box and a survival tent, these important features make the game bearable to a point where it becomes mandatory to keep paying just to keep them. It doesn't matter whether Bethesda has gotten massive backlash from this, because it's still here right in our faces and we can't do anything about it but just not play their game. These important features should've been implemented in the base game for free and of course we should've gotten a raise in storage cap.

Also i need to mention the "Utilities" in atomic shop which contain scrap kits, carry-weight boosters, lunch boxes and other items made to provide in-game boosts which last in limited amount of time when used, these are of course "pay-to win" in my opinion and have also been criticized by players as they were first introduced.

I can criticize this game writing thousands of words on how Bethesda manages to screw us players while they stay behind all the shills defending their games, praising them, in hopes to get special treatment in return.

My disappointment for this game is that i can't enjoy this game without having to be psychologically tormented and reminded to at least pay for something with real-world money, just so i feel like playing again.
I have woken up from this nonsense and hence i say that i cannot recommend this game to any person who know how to responsibly spend their money.

If you like grinding for years and still not knowing what the hell are you doing, then this game is for you.
Pointless, repetitive and frustrating.

That's it!
I am officially done with this game.
After years of modding and enjoying this beautiful yet broken game, i am sick of Bethesda pushing their updates and constant Paid mods market down our throats.
Their latest trick was making their creation club content mandatory to run the game, i couldn't even roll back to the previous version and play with my 1.6.353.0 version mod list without breaking anything. I tried every possible method to no avail.

I am really sad right now, this is it, the last straw, i deleted everything, this game, all my mods, even saves.
Never touching this game ever again and i will never support this scummy company ever again, i won't buy their games and i am ashamed that i even supported them at all by buying all these stupid editions.

Screw you Bethesda.

I recommend this to anyone who wants a corporate monetization free, feature packed, full experience that we all paid for.
I'm not really into turn-based combat or DnD, but this one really has shown me what it's all about, so i wasn't disappointed.
Other positive reviews can speak for themselves as in detail wise.
I say this game is worth your hard-earned money and that precious time.

Although i experienced a lot of crashing and technical difficulties which has been quite annoying and frustrating, most of that is somewhat fixed, but it's far from perfect.

All in all the game looks beautiful and the facial expressions have really captured the emotions of characters, now that is innovation and it should be in all other future games, but who could take up on such a challenge as Larian did... it remains to be seen.

Anyway, buy, immerse yourself and romance Karlach, you will be happy.

WARNING! This game contains Denuvo, therefore it is unplayable, the game will crash often and you will find no smooth experience.
Besides..
I got bored of this game, after going through tedious exploration and grinding.
Story was uninteresting, the dialogue options were not fleshed out, just boring conversations, felt too on rails.
Combat was great, indeed challenging and it offers much of tactical approach.
Overall graphics feel like from 2015. Game has lip-sync issues, stutters, immersion breaking bugs and needs a lot of polishing.
At this point i cannot recommend this game for it's full price so wait for sale.

This is what a true remake looks like. I recommend this game to everyone, it doesn't suck and it stays true to the original game with a few differences in dialogue and key moments in the story. The combat is the same as in original Dead Space 2 i would say, judging from the many refined features carried off what was already made, the horror and the graphics really made me immersed.
Now i can't wait to see what the sequels turn out to be if the developers continue to refine the space horror of this game into them.
Much love and appreciation to the makers of this game, really a great job!
