This wasn't a game that I was expecting like as much as I did. It's now one of those games I wish I could play again over knowing nothing I do now in order to fully enjoy it once again. That being said, definitely go into this game knowing nothing about it for maximum enjoyment.

Excellent game all around. Although the game isn't super long the replay value is absolutely huge. I can see myself going through several times, especially with the built-in randomizer mode.

Anyone who is a fan of the metroidvania genre of games needs to play this because it would be a disservice to themselves to not do so.

The gameplay loop is extremely addicting. It's hard to stop playing even if you tell yourself this is the last thing I'm going to do before I get off. Due to the fact that players are likely to have destroyed all of your hard work before you get on the next day keeps you working hard to prevent the likely-hood of that happening. It really kicks in your fight-or-flight mindset around every corner as to no lose the progress you've made. For better players than I it may be different but for people who suck at fps games like me I have to do whatever I can to prevent myself to become a target in the world that I'm building in making me more of a passive player until I can get some decent weapons. You'll be doing this over and over again after losing your stuff, but you'll still want to go try again and see if you can progress further. It's a whole lot of fun and I can't recommend it enough.

Honestly the most fun I've had in VR so far. Runs super smooth even on my under-powered machine relieving me of all the head-aches caused by the other I've played that constantly stutter.

Although it is a rhythm, it's probably the best rhythm game you can play. You'll want to get good as you're playing because you can feel that being able to play those hard songs aren't too far out of your reach. You can easily get good enough to play "hard" songs on your first day playing the game.

I'm also going to throw it out there that you probably won't ever get this game on sale so if you ever want to own this game, you will need to buy it at full price. If you're interested at all just buy it. You won't regret it.

I haven't beat the game yet, but from what I've seen so far I feel I can make give a good assessment of the game as a whole. Like the previous games, it does a great job of setting the stage for all of the murders that occur each chapter and subverting your expectations. The game understands that you've probably already played the previous two games and doesn't feel the need to explain or rehash anything from the other two games. The game knows you're going to draw parallels from the other two games and use that against you to make you draw the wrong conclusion for each case. For me, that is a good move for any sequel as you will always feel as though the cases are predictable making the game hard to stop playing.

Now, my only complaint here is the unnecessary amount of filler content in between each case. Before you even start the first case you'll already have spent 3-4 hours playing the game. That's a long time to see nothing happen. The subsequent cases do the same thing but do so with annoying free-time sequences. Granted, these free-time sequences are optional, but if you choose to not participate you'll be at a disadvantage in the trials because you earn points from the free-time events. These points are spent on special skills that make the trials a bit easier to complete without mistakes. Albeit, some of the free-time events are fun to read, it is really unnecessary to force the player to sit through four of them in between each case.

Overall, a great sequel to a great series of games. I hope they make more in the future. If you've the previous two games, this game definitely worth a buy.

Not really one for visual novel type games, but this gave me Phoenix Wright vibes so I enjoyed it. Will most likely buy the next few games.

If this game is on sale, buy it. It's too short to buy at full price, but it's still a good game. I beat the main game in less than 7 hours if that tells you anything.
