DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IN ITS CURRENT FORM! I have thousands of hours on paradox games and they are some of my favourite games I have ever played. I very much enjoy and respect the level of community engagement Paradox has, however... Paradox doesn't seem to understand the difference between good DLC to expand and add depth to games, and using full price DLC to make their clausewitz engine demo, sold as a full price game, actually enjoyable and replayable.

Did I buy CK2 when only Christian characters were playable? Yes I did.
Did I then buy multiple DLCs to play as other religions that should've been included in the base game? Yes I did.
Did I buy multiple full price DLCs that added very little content to EU4 and HOI4? Yes I did.

However enough is enough. This game seriously feels like some people from the modding community took assets from EU4 and CK2 and then made a standalone in their free time, it is GARBAGE. I can't even write a review on the actual content of the game because there just isn't any content. I'm serious... there isn't any.

I think as consumers and fans of Paradox we should genuinely reevaluate our opinion of the developer, and ensure our criticism of this scummy, EA on crack like business strategy is understood. You can have as many live streams and as much developer engagement as you like, Paradox, I will still no longer be supporting your company while you use this money grabbing strategy. I'm not going to pay £100+ for a complete game anymore.
