Puzzles and shooting games don't usually go hand in hand naturally, but Children of the Sun has somehow stuck the landing. Constantly testing your patience and problem-solving skills, one bullet is all you have, it's also all you ever need.

I loved the visuals above all else in this game. The gameplay is a lot of fun and challenging (if you care a lot about high scores) but it does sometimes lack a certain polish in terms of the bullet's hitbox. Overall, the game is rather short, if I did not care for scores or achievements, I'd likely finish it within two hours or less. The price is something to be desired as well unless you're the type to be on the top of every leaderboard in each level, you may wait for a worthwhile sale.

Even if I won't play Children of the Sun again anytime soon, my four hours experiencing this visual treat was more than I could ask for.
