Though obviously much has changed and many of them are clearly not who I currently am, it's still important to preserve them. At least to me, they carry a some weird sentimental value to me.

To those wondering why I keep my comments, a complete cringefest might I add. As much as I am ashamed of them, I keep them to look back on who I was. They are and will always be a part of my identity.

Yet, honestly I can't be best friends with everyone who drops me an email - I'll do my best to always reply in a timely and thoughtful manner, but I'm just a person with a life at the end of the day. There's a certain parasocial nature to most interactions and I'm not my games, I grow as a person over time. I wish I could give you a better answer, but honestly I'm trying to figure it out without resorting to a one way communication style like most devs.
