I forgot about this Gem.

If you enjoyed Life is Strange, you'll enjoy every drop of this tantalizing story.
Whilst the combat leave much to write home about, you do feel a real sense of power each time you gain a new ability. So power progression is solid, Music is solid, alongside its stellar writing. Whilst the facial animation is still a bit stiff, the voice work and solid writing makes up for this minor shortfall that falls inline with the rest of DontNod's catalogue. A Road Trip of emotions, and a test of ones morals in a fun game.

A short fun Puzzle game with charming art with a boopin' ost to boot. Plus, you get a guide that tells you how to make the pancakes in game. Hell Yeah.

You get to kill monsters and get paid for it. Need I say more? Also, bewbs.

Its a simple, easy to pick up.

Great for killing time, a fun roster of characters.

The soundtrack is catchy. But the bosses are a little too easy. There is a solid roster of various enemies that encourage certain play styles and tactics. Looped runs do increase the speed of enemies, even allowing them to randomly spawn into previously cleared rooms, You'll find yourself becoming a force of nature to the point so many particle effects occur on screen, it will chug your frames for 1 to 2 seconds entering a room due to well... Everything dying all at once in a shower of pixels.

Trepang2 is the John Wick/John Woo Sim we all never knew we had.

My only gripe with the game.. the lack of a mission marker button, sometimes you get lost easily and wander aimlessly like some bumbling psychopath who needs an epipen shot in order to 'duel wield', yes in order to use your second hand.. you need some insulin. Thankfully after your one-time 'dose' of hand juice serum.. You can duel-wield shotguns. Yes. You read that right.

The physics, hilarious, watched a grenade send man cart wheeling through the air at like Mach 5. He hit a wall and you heard an audible 'crunch' as his body crumbled to the floor... but he got up. So sprinted over to him, grabbed him, and threw him back across the court yard directly at his friends. He flew beautifully as he screamed during his entire flight.

I sent a few grenades along side for good measure and I watched as he rejoined his friends by clocking one straight in the face, knocking both to the floor confused and dazed only for 3 grenades to assault them with a hailstorm of shrapnel comprised of the finest IKEA office furniture before finally being turned to what I would describe as 'the worst strawberry Jam grandma ever made'.

This is the most 'Direct-To-DvD-Sequel' a game could ever be.

The game is below Mid. From the strangest and most uninteresting cutscenes to the most drawn out soliloquies that could have been cut and still developed the characters further without the speeches, to the overall rush job that was this game. Its definitely in need of polish and I'd consider it not finished.

They sadly removed Multiplayer and Modded Content.

They really killed the game for no reason.

"Don't make a girl a promise, if you know you can't keep it.."

That quote pretty much sums up the feature creep of this title. Up until now I was having SOME fun.. but between the armor cores ruining armor customization to progression being tied strictly to challenges that force you into playing modes you may or may not like as well as Coop and forge not launching and theater mode being broken.

To the devs making promises and then.. well back tracking on them. The latest being split screen coop no longer being committed to. ---- YET THE COMMUNITY HAS FOUND A WAY TO PLAY SPLITSCREEN COOP - yet the devs won't touch it. I don't know the back end code that is likely glued together but my guess is it isn't pretty. Especially when the back alley tutorial is a 14 step process just to get split screen working.

A live service model works for some games, BUT... for this game, IT CLEARLY ISN'T. The devs are working hard. I give them that. But the leader ship that decided this was the way - A LIVE SERVICE GAME that is not only NOT feature complete upon launch, but very.. very lacking in content.. despite being a LIVE SERVICE GAME.

I've bought almost every halo. *Halo 5 being the exception* I've been a long time fan. But even I can see where this is failing and I hate saying that. I like many, were excited.

KNOW YOUR FAN BASE. If you can't appeal to them. You won't appeal to 'broader audience' and you know why I know this, Because it is fans who bring in the broader audience through word of mouth. But if the core fan's arn't enjoying it. Then they'll make it known. Which means less 'new players' entering halo. So congrats. By failing your core demographic, you fail in growing the IP and player numbers.


I was excited for this game. I didn't 'mind' the story. It had good parts. But the overall handling of this entry in halo has been... VERY disappointing.

Halo 3 set the bar, Reach exceeded it, but since then.. its been a slow agonizing drift into the oncoming lane.. I pray something shakes 343 awake because I feel nobody right now is at the steering wheel.

As someone who got this as his first game on the wii back when the wii launched. I leaped at the chance to get this series when I saw it coming to steam.

THE PORT IS TRASH. DON'T BUY IT. BUGGY SWITCH PORT. UNPLAYABLE.

Some of the achievements you can't get.

The bathroom one. One of the bathrooms doesn't count.

Dial M doesn't work. Infact its wrong. In the description it states 510 enemies killed. But the counter says 5,100 or 5.100. Plus it resets alot.

The baseball minigame side job is broken because the strength of the swing is still tied to the Wii motes motion control set up. So even if you hit the baseball, its not a full strength swing. Thus you don't hit all the guys and you can't get a gold medal which is required for the achievement where you need to get all gold medals in the side jobs. Ontop of that, the description for the controls says "Press the B or Button to send it flying" Well B doesn't work, and you can only swing with the A button.

The sound mixing is okay but during certain sword clashes, you get static because the audio levels get too high.

Then there is a bug with Travis's glasses that cause them to disappear anytime the camera is looking through a window at Travis or whenever hes looking in a mirror. This was a bug introduced on the switch and after a YEAR and a HALF. They still haven't patched it.

You can't remap controls sadly, one reason I'd like for this to be an option is due to driving Travis's bike. You have to hold A to drive, but B is the break. On the wii mote it made sense wit how the button were laid out but on a xbox game pad, The moment you take your finger off the A button, you slow way down causing drifting to be pointless really and you're better off taking wide turns. Sure you could really quickly go from A to B to drift but remapping your controls would fix this.

Then there is controller support. I don't mind the need for a controller but certain controllers don't work for many people and being that you need a controller to play this game, its a small thing that hinders those that really want to experience this series for the first time.

Then there is also the "Always online requirement." I once tried playing this game offline because my internet went out but for some reason I need to have an online connection for a game that is purely singleplayer and has literally no online component built into that I can see. I could play this game offline on the wii so I'm not sure what changed between the wii and the switch.

This game could use a draw distance slider. Currently when looking for the Lovikov balls (probably butchered that) which unlock special moves for Travis. They only really appear when you're 5 or less steps away from them which makes looking for them really a pain. In the original wii version you could see them clearly from a much father distance away.

And I think they should at least add KB/M support to this game. Not every PC player owns a controller and requiring that this game needs a controller, that can be a deal break for many.

Then there is the fact that many have also stated that their game's arn't even launching.

Mind you these problems arn't unique to the first game. They also carry to the second game as well and from what I heard, its even worse. And that kills it for me, I loved this series on the Wii and to see this half baked port not get the proper polish it needs,

I can't say anything besides "XSEED GAMES, come on, if you patch these problems out, and give players a solid experience, you're bound to sell more copies of these games. Don't just half a$$ it. I know money talks and it does, but I'm telling you. If you make it right. You'll get even more money then what you are now at least. Take pride as developers please fix it."

Until this game is fixed. I can't in a proper mind recommend anyone get this game. I hope the devs do the right thing and work to make this a proper port rather than leave it in the sad state its in currently.
