This game seems great at first glance. Great reviews and meta score. Considered to be one of the great rts games of all time. Unfortunately it has a seriously fatal flaw. Multiplayer balance. If you Google this topic you can find a myriad of discussions on it.
Please note that there are two versions of this game and the one that is played in multiplayer is the new steam version. So the number of hours I have played in this game might not be accurately described. I have played this game for around 500 hrs between the two versions. Its my hope that you see my valuation as accurate. Thanks and be blessed.

you're not wrong, but it's the opposing front factions that ruin balance. You can fix this by simply making a lobby titled "classic match"- USA vs. wehrmacht. if they cry about wanting to play baby faction panzer elite or grave digging commonwealth, you have have already stated the intention with the lobby title.

USA vs. Wehrmacht is absolutely great.

I used to say the same thing. If you play the Allies side right you can easily destroy the germans
