I haven't yet got over it (like ~92% of players at time of writing), and this game is rough, it is brutal, it smiles at you when it beats you down, and its that very fact that makes you more determined to beat it, because you know you can, you know that with enough time this smug game will be beaten, and it'll be you that beats it.

PS, don't ride the snake (you'll know when you get there)

I wish I could give a neutral score to this but if you don't have a controller and are going to use a keyboard then be prepared for (in my opinion) bad controls.
I have been a huge fan of the AVGN for a few years now and when i heard about this game I was really excited and wanted to buy it, so I went into purchasing this game really wanting to love this game and the AVGN episode on the game made the game look good.

Lets start with the good: It is a challenging but rewarding game, it has that old nostalgic 8 and 16 bit feeling, the levels are nice and have some nice humor to them, and it is based on a youtube show that I love to watch.

The problem with this is that it is clearly made for console and not for PC. Naggie the tutorial fairy tells you jump is A (when it isn't for PC) and so unless you looked at the controls before playing the game you have to guess what the controls are. Also, the fact that you can't use the mouse is the real deal breaker for me, I have to use the keyboard fully, which doesn't sound that bad but is an issue when "up" and "Jump" use different keys and you can't use the mouse it means that it is really hard to find the keys that feels right.

So be prepared to have to spend about 30 minutes changing the controls to feel good.
It really annoyes me that they made this port to PC with the very low effort. But the game is good and if you like the AVGN then you will be able to get over the controls, to improve it i would say to go into the controls and make I,O and P as the attack.

Well, it's the final episode of this series. Considering it took under a year to make all 4 is very impressive, so hats off to that. I gave FNAF 1&2 a thumbs up and so it feels weird that I can't do the same, here is why:
FNAF 4 is a very scary game and is the scariest in the series but Scott has taken away the one thing that made this game original, the cameras. The camera aspect was very good, you never saw the animatronics, you only saw them through the cameras and now that is gone the game feels very empty.

The best way to describe The Stanley Parable and this game is....odd. They are both good game though. Personally, i found The Stanley parable more relatable as I am a player of games and not a creator.
If you have created games in the past (or present) then this game will have more of an impact as this game is about production of games and the effect on produces.... well it's sort of like that, this is a difficult to explain game that you just need to play.
It is a rather short game (i finished in 3-4 hours) but it is definatley worth the £5.50 I paid for it.
Overall, it is good and if you enjoyed The Stanley Parable then you will enjoy this.

Well it's no masterpiece, but it is free and is a genuinly fun game to play if you want to waste a few hours collecting hats. I had a lot of fun with this game even if it is a really simple idea, i suppose sometimes the simple game is the most fun, if you add in unecessary rules it can ruin it.

It doesn't need too much explaining. This game is one of the games that prove that gaming can be an art form and still be absolutly brilliant! It is so much fun to play! My words couldn't give it justice so just get it (it is only £7 after all) and you will see what I mean.
Here is a few sections of the game taken out of context: You become the leader of a rebel uprising of lung fish against a giant, a dentist removes peoples brains, you set rats on fire so that they don't confuse you.

One downside is that the dificulty graph is a bit mad. Most basic enermies arn't that dangerous after you train up a bit, then the special enermies (mini bosses) are harder to get rid of. Then the final 5-10% of the game is when you will die, die, and die.
Stop reading this and buy the game

First off it is a shame that there is no middle option for a review because this game is great and you should buy it... but it has one big flaw that lets it down hugely (skip to the bottom to see what that is if you don't want to read the whole thing.
I would like to say that this is the type of game that makes you sit back and think "I havn't played a game this fun and simple and really enjoyable in years", it is made to be fun which is a word not usually heard in video gaming these days.

As this is a game that you can buy on disc i will compare it to the disc version but first lets talk about the game on its own: It is a very happy game and definatly cheers me up, running a theme park is wierdly enjoyable and when you win the guests all clap for you (which is so cute, also if they are holding a balloon they let go and it fly's into the air (simply joys)), it has many different parks with a lot of variety in goals and map types, the graphics are still decent and the little sweeping activity the handmen do is very sweet, and if you are a phycopath then forcing the rides to fall off the rails makes a great explosion.

Now lets start comparing Pros of Steam version: It has a lot more variety of maps includng real world parks, there are more variety of rides, making banners is fun, also (only fans of the disc version will understand) you can set the price of all the burger stand to be the same price and not have to go round changing them all.
Cons of the steam version: It may just be with my version but you can't see what the rides will look like untill they are built (except for the original rides that were on the original disc version) this is very annoying as i don't know what the ride is at all or if it will be similar to previous rides i have or if it will be too extreme for my guests.
Also, most of the new rides are far to big for any park and are too exspensive to be able to build. It is a shame that they have this variety of new ride designs but it is impossible to use this feature.

If you liked the original disc version when you were younger then get this, it will be quite the nostalga ride and I look forward to seeing you at the exit saying "Rollarcoaster tycoon 1 was great!" (if you get my reference to the game)

If you have boght the first part and enjoyed it then you should buy this one to finish off the story and to complete the entire Bioshock story line.
Gameplay: You play as Elizabeth and have to use stealth instead of brute stength like in the rest of the Bioshock series. This gives you a new experience of the game.
The Music: excellent scary and full of tension but not too much that it ruins the fun.

It really helps to tie the knot between the bioshock worlds but I don't want to ruin the story so I won't tell you why or how, you will have to find that yourself.
It is a wonderful and touching story and is well worth the £12 price tag.

We were promised achievments but sadly got none due to the difficulty with the programming side of the task. HOwever, except for this minor problem it is a portal Mod this means that the fans of portal (myself included) with love this game even though there are problems, and here they are: 1) The auto save sometimes saves in psitions were you are flying through the air to your death, this is annoying and is made worst by Problem 2
2) Even if you manually save the game you can't load a level in the middle of the sections, this means that you need to beat a whole section of the game (in which there are 4) without quitting off if you do quit of your progress in that section is lost.

However, if you are a fan of portal you will look over these problems as the game is a very nice idea and is well put together. It has two ending (as far as i'm aware) that make a slight difference. The narration is good and this is a game that is unlikely to get a lot of bad reviews as if you are a fan of portal you will look over the problems and if you are not a fan of portal then why the hell did you by the game!.
Overal, not a bad MOD but could do with a little bit of work here and there

A very interesting game with some of the best narration I have heard in years. Interesting and intriging with genuinly made me what to play this game again and again and find all of the ending. Wonderful work Galactic cafe and good luck with the rest of your future endevours.
