SPEED
If you enjoy fun, high speed, platforming and "lite" puzzling then this game is the best buy you can get. Has TONS of hours to enjoy through the main game and of course that's just the start. You have gifts to obtain as well for side quests and pieces of the story.
The ultimate goal is of course to get the author time medals (red) this is where the replayability kicks in. If you aren't interested in absolutely maxing your speed in each level then maybe this won't interest you as that's where a majority of the REAL game is. I promise that regardless the gameplay loop is just fun as hell either way. Even if all you do is run through the levels and finish the "story" it's still worth the money EASILY.
The only gripe I have is a lot of levels are extremely short. I wish most were much larger and had more ways to combo skills into each other throughout the entire level. As it stands it's VERY easy even for casuals to obtain the Ace medals and even just clear the entire game without any real struggle. Which don't get me wrong isn't the worst thing but it does leave something to be desired in terms of achievement.
I also wish there was more/harder achievements as well on Steam for the game. There is definitely some harder stuff to do in the game which has no achievements. Again this is probably because of the more casual audience BUT isn't the point of achievements? So only dedicated players who masters the game get them? If most people can get them it gets rid of the value.
I know I'm the only person who even cares about achievements anymore but nothing gives me more dopamine then seeing a 0.1% achievement and grabbing it. And no I still don't have 100% here but I've seen the achievements and know what they are so I already know they aren't particularly difficult just more of a time investment.

Game was lackluster upon launch and the launch of this DLC is about the same.
Still no anti-cheat so anyone can just use WeMod in single player and then bring ALL that into multiplayer.
Add on top of all that the pitiful player numbers. Steam alone after THE NEW DLC had a 8k max. We can assume console had at least 2-3x that so it brings us up to 24k in a looter shooter. That is technically a single player game somehow but with online capabilities. But why make this type of grind a single player situation mainly? Looter shooters are NOT single player games. If you can't flex the loot then it doesn't matter.
And sure you can "flex" it here if the servers ever work for a solid amount of time. Constant crashes/disconnects SINCE LAUNCH and still today there are issues. It's sad really. Instantly refunded the DLC I'll pick it up at half price in about a month.

Just here to say still love the game and still playing. (hour count update) Definitely still P2W but honestly it's pretty fair even with F2P players. You'll need to make multiple characters obviously but it's do-able if you play a decent amount daily.
Yes it has P2W, it's a korean game did you expect something else? If you did then you should stop playing games in general especially FREE games from the East. They will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS have P2W in one way or another. It's very rare to see a strict cosmetic/convenience only type of model from companies in the East. Having P2W isn't really grounds for a bad review. That's ignorant. The game compared to a lot of free games in the same genre has much better content over all, much better systems, TONS of stuff to do outside of just grinding gear, tons of collectibles.
If you ONLY want to min/max and don't like having fun then maybe this isn't for you unless you have deep pockets. And honestly who cares if it's P2W just means you can get carried by the whales because it's only P2W in PvE not PvP. So it really has no direct impact on how YOU will enjoy the game.
Also again EASTERN game which means you WILL ABSOLUTELY need a full account of alts to even get close to min/max anyway. This is not a game for a single character.

First game I played where I can't buy the premium currency because it constantly says failed to load API.

Fine by me I get to keep my money LOL. What a weird game, doesn't want me to spend money.

First day I played must've been glitched. Since then I've had no issue finding multiplayer matches. Usually within 2 minutes you'll have a full squad to run with. Tons of replay value, lots of fun.
Hopefully they add more content though because within the first 4 hours I beat normal mode and honestly hard doesn't feel that much more difficult. Once you learn most enemies/move sets/map layouts it gets MUCH easier (as do most rogue likes) but this game I don't think has enough content yet when compared to the big boys in the same field. They do have the FPS thing going for them at least so it helps.

So if you get into the game now, don't spend money and don't get addicted. Work on the game has ended. It is officially on maintenance mode.
Not like that's a surprise.

So aside from keybindings the game is great. Some of the early levels really don't sound all that great but once you unlock the harder modes and are causing more "mayhem" it'll add a lot of sound to them making them sound bigger and more intense. So that problem fixes itself later on and even in the normal mode the later levels start picking up the pace and getting a lot more fun to combo.
I will say there are a few issues obviously it's a new release so that's to be expected. One I mainly seem to have a problem with is down arrows that are right after ledges often tell me I miss when I very clearly don't. Doesn't happen enough to be the end of the world but it's enough to be an annoyance when going for 100% achievements.
Keybinds are being fixed so not really worth mentioning anymore although he should have been implemented from the start. At this point I've grown very adjusted and my muscle memory would probably throw me for a loop if I switched the buttons now.

Game play overall is stale and boring. It reminds me of the early 2000's genre of games. Similar to Gunz the duel and the like. Except that game actually felt super fast paced and fun/fair to play.
The overall audio is complete garbage, hearing someone else before they start shooting you is almost never happening. If you ever play on the ground level except to run away you'll lose every time. You essentially never want to be on the street level.
Hackers? Everywhere already.
Also que times are pretty bad, had to wait 4 minutes for a group queue and ended up with no teammates anyway so I had to 1v3 quite fun. Que for solos is a little bit faster but honestly not by much, and for a BR having to wait longer than a minute is bad. Because you will die quickly a lot of times and then it's back to sitting at the menu simulator.

This game is horrid. They took a fantastic game and massacred it. Nothing in this game is remotely decent outside of combat and even that I can't vouch for completely. It still feels incredibly dated compared to almost ANY indie game let alone AAA titles.
Absolutely NO end game at all. Unless you consider ONE "boss" end game content then good on you. Gigantix isn't exactly what I'd call a fun or entertaining game play loop.
I wanted to love this game and had high hopes but my lord...What a mess.
