up until the DLC i would recommend the game but unless you are a dark souls purist it isnt worth the money spent. the dlc is only hard due to the devs deciding that the best way to make the game harder is not new mechanics but give you no time to heal so all your boss fights are forced to be no hit runs do not buy this if you are a casual player. if you are a enjoyer of this game style its fun enjoy

ghames overall a fun experiance (when it works)

73 hours currently i am had the game 100%ed before the update that added norseman and the beast huntress, they did a good job killing this game for me, no leader board no way to compete a chill solo-player experience as it should be. so they decided to hard nerf many of the items/traits that were liked instead of buffing the ones they want to see more use. On top of that the acheives for beast huntress to have her extremely small range hound to do 1m damage just feels impossible to do. Great game before this update, recommended it to many friends, but as they have shown the willingness to hardnerf in a pve roguelike i can no long say the same, do not buy this.

UPDATE: So in the update after the unneeded nerf to the traits the game was deemed to difficult by a part of the majority (the same majority that wanted the trait nerfs i assume) so in the end they nerfed the game putting it back to how it was albiet smaller numbers, now i just say dont buy the game of sheer principle of the devs do not have a direction. the community will play tug o' war with nerfs and buffs instead of devs putting their foot down the game with have zero consistency again DO NOT BUY THIS. pirate it if you want to play that badly the devs deserve NOTHING.

TBH do not look to buy this game in its current state, the devs are taking to nerf EVERYTHING in a full pve game some specs are bugged to the point of uselessness come back when its cheaper or when the devs get the sticks out of their asses
