It needs work but the concept is great... onto the details...
well right off the back after starting the game while in the menu i was experiencing a graphical glitch were its dragging things to the boarders the screen, tried changing settings didn't seem to work did a verifying and it showed all files successfully validated, after that it seems to have fixed itself... for now... did the character maker which seems... odd? its different than most which is a nice change but the more i look at my character i feel like its made of metal not skin. other odd things.... i played the 3 day demo and i have to say the demo start was better than the early access release start imo. current vs demo, current just throws you into combat blind while demo shows you that you have to first take care of your village people and shows you how to make them work for you. The Music... this is a really big issue atm i had to mute it within 5 mins of playing as it just over does it and it might as well be a air horn in your headset... Combat play... as you level up you get access to different methods of attack and ways to use your energy beam to throw yourself around/dodge. other random bugs - when you upgrade your weapons they are ment to no longer be in your inventory however if you have it equipped it still is usable during the upgrade time. i'm unsure if this happens to others but i left it equipped and than assisted to make upgrading the weapon faster and suddenly my character grew 10% bigger... this also effected the size of the buildings i was placing down as a result... Building - it can work but it takes a bit to get use to its flaws those builders that read this far into a review there is snapping but for rotation its limited to a nsew/ne,nw...exc rotations but nothing in between so we cant say make a walk way out of the portal that we all ways come from when we warp back to our floating island because it doesn't happen to line up with those rotation points... Combat - this is different for sure it breaks the general trend of roll out of the way that seems to have taken most games over you can now do something as simple as beam onto the target than keep your distance as its charging than once it stops us the beam to come in for a hard slam, or you can just use the beam to launch yourself into the air (really high if upgraded) letting you get past most things and setting you up for your weapons super attack. there are 4 main weapons each plays different and has different spots on the monsters to attack to give greater effect... village management - storage is harsh early on so make several storage units as you will need em if you want to do any sort of building outside of just drop tent here and call it good. some resources you get seem to come in massive waves while others seem to struggle getting. i.e. i have nearly 300 bones as im trying to farm the scales of this monster to upgrade my hammer to not be a dull hammer.

Played 19-20 hours in the game now... I have played enough to fully claim a map. There were many crashes during the process and most importantly is that the unit pathing seems to have a major issue. i have had my own units all stand still not doing anything, i have have lunar forces siege weapons do nothing but sit there. another thing of note and im not even sure if this is a bug or an attempt at a earthquake. but i have had it were half of my buildings just goes up in flames for no reason causing me to have to do a mass repair. Happiness needs to be adjusted and stated that only X amount of items works for X places, For example you can make a large garden to get +1 happiness however if you make a second one its still only +1 even if you have 2 now. nowhere does it say they do not stack.

Do to frequent crashes i tried killing the graphics of the game thinking its a process overload because of details in the game attempting to load as well as pathing. this helped greatly and it is not because i have a bad PC. i can play any other game in 2024 on maxed settings without issue with my tower.

When trying to build walls for there is a massive lag in the build click to build application (it putting down the build markers) this started happening when i had a little over 1/4 of the map taken over

well in the end of this i have to say unless they do a lot of bug fixes its next to unplayable after you claim more than 15-20 zones.

Its not finished, its clearly not finished, the scaling is really bad between bosses, and they just gave up on it... i honestly wanted to like this after playing it a bit but... its just sad...

the game itself is 80% skill based and 20% item baised... it can get interesting event for single player but is best in co-op/multi

This game was not even close to what i was expecting going into it blind and i had a blast playing it... You can customize all most everything in combat which lets you come up with strange but powerful spells... 10/10 would recommend :)

stupidly simple to figure out but wow its fun and when you screw up you know its on you. you can kill anything in the game with no upgrades or anything in the game can kill you if you have maxed updates. its a game purly baised on skill
