Personally not my kind of game. I have never been so confused and bored at the same time. The art style is special but I only 100%ed it because I'm a completionist. Maybe I just couldn't relate to the game's story in any way.

This game is a heartbreaking masterpiece.-
It’s a visual novel with a straightforward and linear story, but the way it’s presented is brilliant. The main story is very emotional, while the smaller stories about how each family member met their end are incredibly imaginative. The creativity in these moments is outstanding.
The ending, while hinted at throughout the game, still manages to feel surprising and impactful.

It’s an easy game to complete 100% and takes just 2-3 hours to finish. I recommend getting it on sale, but even at full price, it’s worth every penny. You will forever remember 'What Remains of Edith Finch'.

If you are looking for a short, in-between games, story-driven game to play in one sitting, this is a really nice one. The story is rather sad, but my chat and I really enjoyed it. It reminded us of Stray in a way. It is also accessible for all ages, focusing more on the story than on controls or fighting techniques.

However, it is rather short—2-3 hours for a playthrough if you really take your time. There is some replayability to get the other achievements, and they aren't too hard. I did struggle with some of the fighting scenes where I had to push 12 buttons within 5 seconds... (This might just have been me.)

Overall, I loved the game and 100%'ed it, but I did wish it was a bit longer. Recommended story game nonetheless!

I wanted to like this game, but it ended up being a bit of a letdown even though I retried it multiple times.

It is advertised as a puzzle game, but out of the 4hs I played, I only spent -barely- 1h on the puzzles. The plot wasn't very interesting and the puzzles were a bit too easy for me.
Luckily, you have an option to fastforward the dialogues or even skip the puzzles, depending on what you like about the game. The achievements are easy to get and the art style is pretty cute.

It has its charm but the game just wasn't for me in the end.

"It looks like he hung himself." "Hung himself? Like a piñata? Should I hit him like a piñata?" - Is by far the best line in his game and perfectly sums up its dark sinister humour.

The story itself isn't particularly long, and while you can replay it in different ways, it ultimately leads you to the same ending. It's more like a visual novel or an interactive film. It's so sinister yet brought in a humorous way. Though some of the jokes don't always land, the overall narrative remains engaging. The protagonist's name is perfectly fitting - some people seem destined to live through constant misfortune. The tale is told from the perspective of a naive child who believes she can fix everything with glitter and sparkles, and her charming accent adds an extra layer of appeal to the experience.

This game is more of an in between games kind of game. It is very short (I finished it in under an hour with all achievements completed) but that doesn't make it any less wholesome. It is about someone falling in love and then going through a breakup and finding herself again. Very relatable in many ways. I love the simplistic art style but I ended up adoring the deeper meaning in the small details.

I wouldn't have bought this game for the full price of 5 euro though. I'm glad I got it on sale for 2. It was totally worth it. As someone who plays COZY games, this one is a MUST. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

It's a short game (4 hours playtime max.), but not too short. It has good graphics, cute flying sea animals, lovely ambience music, collectibles, and some nice achievements. You can ride a sky ray and just enjoy the small but beautiful world. The controls for flying can be a bit tricky however.

It's overall good for a free cozy game.

I highly recommend this game. I haven't played anything quite like it before.

It's a visual novel, but with a twist - you get to make choices and manipulate the storybook. You can always go back and change outcomes, which adds a unique dimension to the gameplay. The narrator's voice is incredibly soothing and adds to the overall charm of the experience. The game is filled with exploration, puzzle-solving, and quirky characters, and the captivating art style is the cherry on top. I've never seen such a cute art style in a game before. The story is incredibly creative and innovative. I haven't read/seen it anywhere before. It is truly unique.

It even moved me to tears a couple of times.

It was a bit anticlimatic. The story is very vague, you are left with a lot of questions at the end of the game.
