its a relaxing game, or graphic novel if you want. Mixing drinks and changing peoples lives while some good music is on.

Reversed Hull Polarity and made a short tour around the block, graphics will be deliverd next wendsday.
The strong part so far are the dialouges, the interactions with people and the little things on board a Federation starship.
The voice acting is very good and to be honest, from what i´ve seen so far, this is the best Trek in a long time for me. It feels like an episode from TNG and i´m looking forward to how the story will go on.

Is it version 0.4? Why yes! Already its a fascinating game. Collecting resources and building equipment, facilities is just the drum beat. Exploring the map is for me the heart of the game. Especially when you consider that you terraform a cold, desert-like planet.
The planet changes appearences, ice melts and allows you to explore new areas.
Of course, its the alpha. The graphics might still need improvement (clipping errors lol :D), but already a beautiful and captive planetcrafter game.

Updates from the developer breaking the mods. You see, the mods are kinda important here to have a game in the first place.
Its neither a real resource based survival game, nor a real city builder. The mods corrected this, buildings, gameplay mechanics or just nice little things. As a matter of fact, immigration between domes (your cities) isn´t handled good by the game. There was a mod for it, an update busted it. And a number of save games. I dont know how many savegames i lost. When you have money to spend for a small game, here you go.
Otherwise you should maybe look elsewhere.

I expected Hero Quest, i got U.F.O. Enemy Unknown from the nineties. challinging, rewarding and atmospheric.
the learning curve is steep, planning ahead is key. invest in your base and your mercaneries to brave the horrorfying dungeans. then collect loot and repeat, but it is not getting boring. your suffer injuries on body and mind, the dungeons getting more dangerous but so the rewards.
in short, its the love child of dark souls and U.F.O Enemy Unknown.

There is no chance the feeling of the old Tomb Raider comes back. the controlls are straining and for a shooter the cover system is hideos. Even good ol´ Mass Effect 1 did a better job.
but it was free, so why i´m complaining. jonas is cool. as a matter of fact, the new series should be more about jonas, he is my main man.
its a nice game. not stellar, but nice. some shooting, some exploring, don´t pay much attention to the actual story and characters and you will enjoy yourself.

A very nice rendition of the old Transport Tycoon. With Beta mod activated, Soviet Republic is quiet a big game. Ships on sea or rivers, forklifts carry goods between factories. The developers, 3rdDivision are in contact with the community and the modders here are busy providing content on their own.
People who wants to enjoy a finished product should wait for a while. For others, enjoy a continuisly growing game with a unique feel to it.
