An overall improved experience comapred to the first game, although the AI director can be unfair and brutal on Legend difficulty on higher. The addition of classes (although not really balanced) elevates the gameplay more, and slashing and fighting bosses is a lot more fun than tedious now.

Definitely a good game to last you through the main campaign stories, although after that the grinding to deck out characters in full legendaries becomes a grindfest. Definitely recommend to play with friends for better coordination.

Still as good as it was 13 years ago.
