It's an awesome little single player CCG!
The best comparison is Undertale meets Card City Nights. It has a nice story with peppy characters.

For cardgame nerds like me, the cardgame here is interesting and original. The ingredient mechanic in particular is very cool play on "one-time spells". Give it a go for that alone.

Hope more people check it out, the game deserves it <3. Looking forward to it getting more content.

As a final bonus: Absolute killer soundtrack.

The cardgame here is original and is entertaining to wrap your head around. The deckbuilding also allows for a lot of exciting possibilities. The only real limiting factor is that towards the end this game becomes more of a puzzle game on the normal difficulty, but that is also still fun in its own way.

Can surely recommend if you are a cardgame nerd like me. This does feel like a love letter for those who have fond memories of Yu-Gi-Oh GX.

The game doesn't give a damn and I love it for that

This game has me hooked for the last couple of months with no end in sight. The 25 FFA formula is very exciting.

It is tough to get into though. Take some time to look up a couple of tutorials and don't expect to win your first 10 matches. There is a real gem here but you need to get into it.

My biggest critique would be that it could use more regular updates to keep the game fresh. It also needs more polish.

A lot of people critique Wildcard for making this instead of finishing the main game but for someone like me with a decent PC the base game already works fine. I have as much time into this game as I do in the base game if not more. I personally applaud Wildcard, I have not been entertained for so long with a game since WoW and I only payed 30$ for it.
