The controls are a little loose on a gamepad. Either too sensitive or not sensitive enough. I get by, but my aim suffers slightly. The R18 patch works great! Monsters die too quick or they're spongy, based on difficulty. It has multiple things going for it. You shoot stuff in fps. There's some hentai scenes. You collect stuff while playing and they don't make it ridiculously hard to find the items lying around. You either give stuff to the girls as gifts and woo them or there's things to upgrade your base. Upgrading your base unlocks new sections and you get more stuff to look at. Monsters that attack the gals disrobe them and do 'things' to them. Its satisfying to heal them with the R18 patch...though quite comical in context when in the midst of combat. I got the game on sale, I don't regret buying it. Its pretty good, but not great. You do get a little variety with the guns. I've played better and I've played worse. For an fps with hentai, there aren't a lot of options with this much work put into it. A sequel with co-op would do well, I think.

Time management cooking game about making burgers, managing traps to kill customers for burger ingredients and light stealth mechanics...if you get caught, it could really screw up the 'day' of gameplay. 8 hours in and I'm still mainly just grinding on the first level. Its very fun for casual gameplay when I want a break from more intensive things. I use a gamepad and its probably the most fluid game (in relation to button/direction inputs) I have on steam that was built in Unity. Everything works properly and its a fun way to focus on multitasking without being too serious. Get Godlike Burger if its on sale or you find a cheap key, its worth it. I play this more than some games I've spent $15-$25 on.

Fallout 4 isn't as varied in plot as Fallout 3 and not as grim as New Vegas, but it has a lot of content. I didn't like the town-building aspect of it at first, but it grew on me. After modding the heck out of it, its really fun. If you can find the full game drastically reduced in price, its worth it.

My favourite part of Borderlands 2 without having to grind Borderlands 2. Get it if you're interested in gunzerking against giant spiders, tree-monster and skeletons in a medieval fantasy world. I find it more fun than shooting bandits, personally.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. The controls are broken and they will randomly become unresponsive while playing. I played this a lot on Xbox 360 years ago, saw this on sale for 3.00. I asked for a refund after 3 hours because there is no point in trying to play a game where you have to close the game and restart it constantly, hoping the controls will be responsive again after you restart the game. This isn't a 'new bug' either. The devs just don't care. Don't support something this broken, even if you have nostalgia for it like I did.

I bought this strictly because its a battlefield game that has bots. I like fps multiplayer games with bots. Its the only reason I switched from battlefield to CoD years ago when I got tired of the campers. This game does have a few bugs in it, but the option to play some classic maps makes up for it to me. I wish they'd put a 1-hit-kill throwing knife in battlefield. A year later, they did....but then a few updates later, they lock it behind certain classes....which makes no sense.

I don't like how the seasons have progressed. The xp system of the game isn't aimed at casual players at all. I barely got into the 30's on previous seasons. I have little incentive to play breakthrough, other than to unlock attachments for guns. Putting the guns of past seasons behind a paywall is a bit obnoxious. If they would just put in an official bot mode for TDM or Rush and give us fair xp, I'd be a little happier with the game. I just play in portal for fun and not focus on the xp, but I have other games where I actually care about leveling up and unlocking stuff. Its too much of a grind for me, with the amount of free time that I have. I will say that it is pretty awesome being able to run with a sniper rifle and a miniature shotgun at the same time. I just wish they did more Co-Op/PvE oriented content. I play Star Wars Battlefront 2 more than 2042 lately because of the Co-Op.

The godfather of the 'looter shooter' genre. The aiming is a little janky compared to the original borderlands 1, but I believe that using the guns does improve their handling, which is reflective of the stats when leveling up guns through usage or holding a gun while someone else is killing in co-op. Borderlands 1 may be my favourite in the series. There are some nice shader mods that really contrast the lighting between day and night and make muzzle flash pretty at night.
I LOVE how this game doesn't force you to do pointless tasks like 'shoot hundreds of rocks that 4-armed monkeys throw at you to get a point to increase a random stat by 0.03%' or find hidden things to unlock skills or gear in the game. Those hidden things are usually out of the way and hidden obnoxiously. At least borderlands 3 highlighted stuff on the map. Hidden vault symbols in BL 2 were annoying. Aside from leveling up, the only other grind in BL 1 actually makes sense...use a gun and that gun levels up. There are passive chores for xp, but they're not moronic tasks you wouldn't go out of your way to do while playing the game.
DLC in BL 1 was pretty fun to me. I've spent a lot of time shooting zombies, just for fun. I spent a bit of time fighting the 'robolution' to level up. Knox is a tough one to beat until you level up. Aside from the bank and the skill points you get from beating the underdome, its not a great dlc....but you get that bank and skill points from it. Also a way to get usable higher level guns from vending machines early on.
Lastly, everyone should install the oasis mod for easier fast travel within the dlc's. It kind of makes it easier to travel around the main game, but I wish I could fast travel to more specific sections...still find myself doing a bit of driving between areas to get to where I need to go. There is a memory leak in the code. Even solo, the game can get a little laggy after a while. Its really noticeable in the intro when claptrap staggers while dancing after reloading for the 10th time trying to get that SDU on playthrough 2. I just close and reopen steam to fix it. I usually play solo, so I don't really mind.
Its less content than BL 2 or 3 overall, but I think its worth owning. I played bl2 on xbox 360 and BL 3 on ps4 pro.

I looked at this and was like 'wtf is this....watching numbers....nah' I got bored one day and thought an idle thing might be relaxing after playing Time Warpers. After the agonising wait of waiting for your Energy and Magic points to max out and you can disperse them how you like, it gets really amusing. The guy who wrote the dialog did a heck of a job making a game of watching stats increase and multiply fun to figure out. I got the grind of Time Warpers without the hassle. There is so much to do and upgrade that its ridiculous and systems were set up that will make it take thousands of idle hours to unlock everything. This is a masterpiece in the 'idle' genre. I leave it running all the time now while doing other stuff....other games, watching things....its passively addictive. Great job to the dev. Its free, its hilarious to read and fun to figure out what does what when what is upgraded and that what is affected by what over there. awesome job, 4G!

Meltdown is a twin stick shooter that has tons of stuff to level up and grind for. I first played this on the OUYA and it was my favourite thing to play on it. This is good for when you wanna play something besides an FPS. Its really entertaining in small doses when you feel like grinding on something, but don't feel like getting sucked into something you usually play. When you get all the skills unlocked and max your stats out, survival mode gets pretty crazy when you have 20-30 1ups to burn and you see how far you can go. There is a fair bit of variety in the weapons between range and damage and different armour to buff different stats. This game is repetitive in nature, but where enemies spawn is randomised, which makes you a lil twitchy on higher levels. This is the third platform I bought this game on (though I never play it on my tablet). I still haven't tried the vr function yet. If you like twin stick shooters that don't bother with a story, but you got stuff to level up, get this. 6 hours in and I haven't prestige'd yet in levels (i'm level 38 atm).

Iron Brigade plays similar to Dungeon Defenders, but without the endless grind. Survival mode's 3 maps are the heart of the end-game. Once you learn how to solo survival (you need piercing sniper turrets from swamp survival and super shredder machine guns from cathedral map for your first solo completions), the insanity of mastering survival while giving yourself ridiculous handicaps becomes the driving force of playing this game. I am disappointed there's no weekly leaderboard like there is on the xbox 360 version, but I'm still fascinated with improving my gameplay (like being in position on waves 14-17 really matter). If the player base were larger, this game would be incredible for co-op, as the difficulty is scaled to the amount of players. A four-player match is nothing like a solo run....everyone needs to be on their toes and know how to cooperate and communicate. Overall, the game's art style and the story's writing for the plot were very well done. If you like shooting stuff and setting up defences then get this game on sale. I've beaten Swamp and Settlement literally hundreds of times but its still fun figuring out the little tricks of where to build outside the map and/or putting emplacements in places where burst transmitters or knobs won't break them.
