One of the best automation games of all time, with multiplayer and full mod support. A must have for any fan of automation.

A great squad shooter with a really fun gameplay loop. The support weapons all feel amazing. Visual and sound design are top notch and THAT SOUNDTRACK.

The game is at its best when you team up with 3 friends, the team synergy in this game is incredible.

It has good amount of primary weapon variety but id like the guns from the first game to all return. A lot of the new guns are neat but i feel like they are replacing or at least filling the roles of the classic primary weapons. Id like to see the HD1 arsenal return.

Give me back my AR20-Justice. If you add it and it sucks ill be inconsolable.

Some of the best action combat and build customization I've ever played. Tons of monster variety and 14 different weapon types with entirely unique move-sets with each monster having thier own armor set and weapon for most weapon types. Loads of cosmetic stuff for people who want fashion in their game. The world is beautiful and full of detail and character, plus all the monsters interact with the world and each other. With iceborn this game also has a CRAZY amount of content. (Dont use the "Defender" armor or at least not until you have really learned the game. It's powerful and can lead to VERY bad habits because of how forgiving taking hits is with it on.) Trading hits with monsters is rarely ever a good thing. The stun mechanic exists to punish getting repeatedly hit without evading.

The actual heists/gameplay are great, however they really fumbled the bag with the way you level up. Limiting progression behind challenges that force the way you play is awful. There are also too few options for guns and how you customize them. Few choices for armor, throwables, and equipment too. Finally, an absolutely unforgivably small number of masks and mask customization options, given how massive payday 2's selection was. Payday 2 had tons of time to develop, so i hope this game gets the same treatment because the heists are incredibly fun.

When the progression is changed away from challenges ill change to recommended.

No melee ;_;

*Edit* I'm a man of my word. They added infamy points per heist completed, and bonus all bags and stealth. PLEASE make loud closer to payday 2, the new armor mechanic is lame.

One of the greatest puzzle/investigation games ever made. Feels extremely satisfying once you start unraveling the mysteries and find how they all connect.

Fantastic coop space game. Has progression and cosmetics to go with the engaging gameplay no matter if you are piloting, gunning or repairing. I hope the developers keep at this game, great potential.

One of, if not the best, survival sandbox game ever created. Especially considering the size of the base game AND really good mod support to expand it to your liking. It just gets even better in multiplayer with your friends. I would pay triple price for this.

Outstanding combat and movement gameplay, however they did away with a lot of the things that Monster Hunter World added to make the game feel richer like tracking the monsters, an impressive meal system and seeing captured monsters at base. They did make improvements to what was in MH:World, like having decorations all craftable and added special moves to all the weapons, adding some versatility to each weapon type. Since the game is mainly a combat game it would be easy to say this game is better than MH:W, but its more complicated. This game feels faster and more arcade than MH:World and more forgiving (for the most part) with very free movement.. However if you want a game more "grounded" and intense then MH:World might scratch that itch better, as well as having vastly superior graphics in every aspect (Rise is a Nintendo port but World was designed for consoles), way more interesting environments and Lobby-wide raid events. I like MH:Rise a lot and do think the combat is more fun, but World was a better EXPERIENCE. Both games are amazing though so you should get both. They arent even that expensive anymore.

Open world survival crafting with tier progression and Seeded world-gen. Stacked with a really good multiplayer. Truly has the potential to be a masterpiece and has yet to even fully release.
