I actaully own the 3 disk playstation game, ( well my brother owns it ). But Im gald that Steam are bringing the old Final Fanstay games back. If you are interested in the Final Fantasy series Id HIGHLY recommend this game for those who want to try a Final Fantasy game for the first time.
I won't go in depth about the gameplay, you just have to experience yourself and you will know why people recommed and own this game.
As for me, I have to hook up the old playstation system again and finish where I'd left off in the 8 block saving system in the gray colored memory card. And yes I was born in the early 90's.
