I have been playing Fallingcers for about 10 seconds now (and then ran the game for an extra 4min 50sec so that I could leave this review), and I must say I am absolutely appalled by it's overall design. Firstly, the graphics; the gave is a vertical downwards scroller which looks to set itself apart via combining assets which resemble that of the Mario series with basic geometric shapes, creating a clash of aesthetics which creates an unnerving tone and sets Fallingcers up to be a great horror game, however the game never does anything with these simple albeit moving graphics, making it a complete waste of project budget and resources. Nextly, the plot! The game gives us an interesting setup. Why is the ball falling downwards? Has is invaded the MCU (Mario Cart Universe)? What happens when it hits the ground? Is there even a ground? Normally is such pieces of art mystery can be an engaging and compelling way to leave readers/viewers/players pondering the very nature of what they just have experienced, however here it just seems to be a lazy design choice to avoid having to address the game's several plot holes, and don't even get me started on the game's dialog, so that's why I won't talk about it. Now let's talk about our protagonist: the red ball. This unlikely hero makes an interesting and relatable protagonist straight off the bat, however as the game progresses it is clear nothing is done to develop the character. As the game goes on the character continues to make the same mistakes: going through the gap in between the pipes rather than exploring alternative options, completely unaddressing his own ignorance towards his own meaningless existence, and so forth. It is this repetition which makes ball an overall bland protagonist which had great potential yet became annoying as the story progressed. And now let's mention the most blaring issue with this game I have not yet mentioned. The game is an endless runner, or in this case faller. This prevents the story from ever concluding in a satisfying manner and thanks to ball's repetitive and idiotic character design, the game looses it's appeal very quickly. The game never concludes some of it's most interesting subplots: will ball every reach the bottom? Will ball ever go through with the surgery? Who is the real father of triangle? It is for these reasons I consider Fallingcers a complete and utter failure. DO NOT BUY!!!

With nearly 200 hours on just PC and probably atleast 700 hours combined with ever copy of the game I have (I own this game on every system), I can say that this is one of the greatest games of all time.
