It's a very fresh spin on the genre. The abilities make you feel powerfull and every upgrade in the hub changes your next run.
It has some issues as it is an early access. The AI is kinda wonky when you have a large army and i you have too big of an army it just gets stupid. But damn does that feel good to achive this level of power in the run. (yes, yes it does)
I had an opportunity to chat with the devs in person at a convention and they are great and passionate people.
Can't wait to see next updates.

The graphic designers deserve a raise. The art is stunning and unique.

Combat system seems to have a lot of options and the night/day system makes it even deeper.

I have played through the game and it is simply fun. The animations are nice and smooth. There are some powerfull combos you can maje with the right abilities and the story is nice as well

Very nice game to play after 400h in Skyrim. World and graphics are beautiful.
