Early Access Review
A fantastic FPS shooter. There is a bit of a learning curve however. I would watch some youtube videos to learn about the game more as the people in it don't really like noobs. As long as you don't do anything stupid, you'll be fine though. This is a more semi-serious to serious game which adds to the realism. And boy, does it feel real. The sounds are what really make it. I wish I had a surround sound system to make it better because the game sounds great. The maps are huge also, it makes you team with your squad, hence the name of course, to push up and plant your HABs/FOBs (the spawn points). I do wish they had helicopters but the tanks and transport vehicles do just fine. Couldn't ask for a better shooter.

Very fun game especially with friends! If you like board games and adding a some minigames on the side to add to the fun, its a lot of fun! Very fun! Fun.

For right now, I cannot recommend this game. It's a fully released game but it still feels like the Early Access it was a year ago just with better optimization. My 970 can finally get 80 FPS average after the 1.0 update but the graphics are still lacking. Way far away stuff are buggy. A texture will load then go away at a fast rate. I get these weird lines on the shorline. Stuff is fuzzy sometimes depending on my location. I can't see players all the time when they are far away. Sometimes I completely miss them when they are in front of me! Maybe I need glasses, I don't know, I already need them for my near side eyes. Game crashes every so once in a while but at least you can join back if you are in a safe spot. Killing people is the major problem though. I can unload half or even a full clip into someone and hit the majority of those shot but they dont go down. And if they do go down but they are in a group it takes another half of my clip to finish him. But when someone shoots at me, it takes a few shots and I'm toast. Who knows, maybe I just suck. But something does not feal right. My guess is the high latency issues with players in the lobby. You have people all the way in ♥♥♥♥♥♥, China (It's a realy place) that are in any server they can get to. Everytime I go in a NA server half to pretty much every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ person is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ asian. A simple region lock would fix this issue.

I do not think this game should have been released so soon. I would be happy if it were still in it's early access stage because it is a great game. But once you put it in fully released stage this game is terrible. If this game never had a early access program and released it the way it was, I would have refunded my money. The devs should work more closely on the main issues before doing anything else...like loot crates. I do play this game a lot but mainly with friends cause they distract me from the issues I have with it.

Edit (7/11/18):

It's been a while since I wrote my review (over 6 months) and I think it's time for an update. It seems like every step forward the devs make is really just four steps back for the game. The UI is lookin good I'll give them that but why change somethings thats working right now? Why not change the mass desync on the servers that happen almost everygame instead thats been a problem for almost a year now. (I believe I had desync issues way before it became prevelant with other people). Some decisions the devs make don't make sense when trying to create a good game that PUBG can potentially be. Optimization is still terrible. When I said I can get a smooth 80 fps, that has now changed. I had to lower my graphics settings to keep a constant fps. I get around 60 fps now and it still get dips to 30 which affects my gameplay and messes with me when I am in a hot area.

But let me go back to "the devs are making decisions that don't make sense." In a view to make the game better, this is true. However, if you look at the root of all evil, it becomes very clear. Bluehole is just in it for the money. Can't blame them I guess, but it is starting to feel like a disgrace to the video game community. All these loot crates, season passes, buy level ups, buy this buy that feels like a kick in the face to me as a consumer. Why would I pay more for a product that is not even fixed? I mean I payed $30 for this game, thats a good price but thats when it was alpha stage. Which even though it has been out for 6 months, still feels like the alpha that I was playing last year. Just with more features added into it. I would rather play fortnite, which I have been, because its free to play, looks and plays great. Yes FN is cartoony, smaller and the such but they are doing it right. They add different events every season, they don't have game breaking bugs, and they seem to care about their customers. Now, I am not all against PUBG and I am not a FN fanboy. I used to love PUBG. However, they are not taking the right steps to make this a good game. I don't like cartoony bs in a game. I like realistic shooters with great graphics. PUBG would be amazing if the devs would not constantly think about how they can get their pockets bigger. I would think making a flawless game that makes people come back to it would make hand over fist in cash over a game that is half assed and made for people to buy loot boxes. I play FN right now because I love the battle royal concept and I don't feel like the game is getting in the way of my skill (if I even have any) and fun.

I would still not recommend this game at it's current state. Wait till CoD or BF5 comes out with a superior battle royale mode. The devs will start sh*tting their pants then, when they realize they don't have the niche market of a realistic battle royale shooter. Hopefully it will be better then, if not, just get some other game. Not this one, please save your money.

This game is really glitchy. It's fun with a lot of people but you can't even play one game without it bugging out on you. Save you money until they fix it...

Skyrim is a fun game with or without mods. But what makes it the game it is today are the mods. If you look at GTA IV, the game would of only lasted 2 or maybe even 3 years of people playing on it either solo or online. But with the awesome mods coming out and STILL coming out for the game, it lasted 7 years!

I think modders should get some credit for their awesome work. But allowing this to happen is rediculous. We should pay what we want without pop-up messages saying, 'Please donate!' like what some people are doing with a free version of a mod. For some, when you get the free version like a lite app on the app store, you get messages saying Buy the paid version today! and you dont get all of the game with the lite version. Some features are held back just like some of these mods. This is a load of bullcrap and I will not be buying another game through Steam and I will not lift this review till things are set right.

There should be a donate button to the modders so they can get some money if the community thinks they deserve it. And the modder shouldnt be able to set a minimum fee. Pay-for-mods is a virus to the PC community and should have never been thought of in the first place. Mods are what makes PC the best gaming machine out there. Valve making people pay for mods is putting their company as low as EA. Screwing the PC community is not what Valve is about, I thought you guys were better than this.

Edit: Valve has since lifted paid mods and are giving out refunds. Good job for now.

Early Access Review
This game is really fun, set aside the bugs and all the BS that might happen cause its Pre-alpha. Cant wait till everything is fixed which wont happen for awhile now. This game has a lot of potential and can grow to be something like a realistic minecraft. Its very fun and cant wait what the devs do next with it! 10/10
