Sorry but this game puts on a great show, great graphics and a fantastic story... but absolutely the worst PVE experience ive ever had in any game. The internet will give you a wall and spew about "get gud" and all that jazz and thats ok. Currently as it stands the PVE on the first difficulty is great, its a challenge but you feel powerful and like you can crush the legions of any enemy who faces you.

Then you step into the next difficulty:
Very difficult and you need to have upgraded your gear to handle it, as well as sufficiently leveled your character which is good to go! im all for it!

Now youve leveled up, gotten some nice perks and your level is as good as it can get, let step into the third difficulty:
you will be mowed down endlessly by enemies who can soak 10x more damage than you ever can dream of, oppressively get swarmed by enemies who will stagger you, stumble you and all around demolish you while you jump around wondering "where is the ammo?" because you will have none within 2 minutes of fighting any swarm. you need to beat this level to get the next tier of guns unlocked, and those guns are what make this difficulty palpable...

so essentially you need to beat a difficulty to get gear... to beat that level?

Ammo is wildly lacking, the dodge timing mechanics are scuffed and poorly synergized, and you will be pushed back over and over by swarms that you cant kill quickly enough. and once they are ontop of you, its over.

Kinda wild how the idea of the space marines are to be destructive beasts of war... and you get pushed back and are constantly on the run begging the emperor for ammo but he ignores your pleas for help.

Love the look, love the feel, hate the horrible mechanics these devs have designed.

Now please hit me with your best "skill issue" or "get gud" comments

So this game looks good and im dying to play it because I love civ games. But currently It bugged as hell... 1 minute into the game, no matter what I do, it crashes. I want my damn money back for this...
