Here are some fun facts about bulldozers:

1. In 1923, a farmer named James Cummings and a draftsman
named J. Earl McLeod made the first Bulldozer (A replica is on display
at the city park in Morrowville, Kansas.). On December 18, 1923,
Cummings and McLeod filed U.S. patent #1,522,378 that was later
issued on January 6, 1925 for an "Attachment for Tractors."

2. The largest manufacturer of Bulldozers in the United States is Caterpillar, which makes
approximately 6,500 Dozers each year.

3. In 2005, Houston Astros pitcher, Roy Oswalt, received his dream machine, a Caterpillar D6-XL
Bulldozer, when he clinched the MLB pennant over the St. Louis Cardinals.

4. Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), a computer hardware/software company code-named
their computer processing unit (CPU) “Bulldozer.”
