No other games since Hades made me ignore real life so much as Against the Storm. I just couldn't put it down. The best aspects of the game: learning curve / gradually opening game mechanics, pacing and high variety of strategies / the need for adopting the current map modifiers and resources.

All of my colony names are either a pun or an innuendo :D

Kind of unique and really fun gameplay :)

Don't play this if you don't have ~100 hours of something to watch while playing it. After the 3rd run / first clear the game become highly repetitive. The hero choice have little to no effect on the gameplay since you can just use a generic winning strategy if you know what to expect in the end game. Sometimes the game also crashed, fortunately this was just a minor inconvenience since I did not lost any progress, I just had to start the game again. Gathering all the achievements was a chore.

If you don't care achievements you are good to go, it is a fun game overall.
On the other hand, it's really disappointing that my achievements are not unlocking, and the bugs are reported on the official BL3 forum more than a half year ago, but no response, fix or whatsoever...

3 aspect to highlight: complex but great mechanics, well written lore, and challenging in a good way.
