It adds two new archetypes ("Defender of the Hearth" for fighter and "Keen Eyed Adventurer" for Which).
It adds a short (15-40 minutes) quest.
It allso adds a new cool item.
And it's free.

At the moment of writing, it's the best DLC for one of the best games ever.
Strongly recommend to play "Through the ashes" first though.

It may be somewhat chaotic and confusing in the beginning, but that's what it should be in terms of the story being told. Confusion of what is happening should occur both for the player and the character, and I think the developers handled this just perfectly. The explanation of what is happening just catches the hook, providing motivation for both the player and the character in the story.
But overall, it was a great side story.

It's not a surprise that one of the best games of the year have one of the best soundtracks of the year. Thank you, Weather Factory.

Insanely strong (and really fun to use) character with cool and interesting scenarios. If you liked the base game, but want some more - give Iris a try.

At the time of the first Darkest Dungeon, I thought that Stuart Chatwood's music only gets better every time.
The soundtrack of this game proves that I was right.
