If you are a fan of games like F.E.A.R or Trepang2, then this game is for you.

Honestly, nowhere near as good as the other remakes. I never played the OG, but even without it, I can say this game is a below average RE. Ammo distribution is unbalanced, enemies even on normal take too many hits, Nemesis is a pain in the ass, the dodge doesn't work well as it's unclear the safe distance and time frame of when to use it, and it's way too short. I honestly feel that even on sale it's a waste. Just buy the RE2 or RE4 remakes, don't waste your money on this.

It's been 2 years and this games is no way near as complete as it should be. Just get Vermintide 1/2 instead.

The combat system while novel, feels awkward not at all as polished as it should be. It also feels like there needs to be more for the player to control ((ex: more mobile bases, more unit types, etc.) Right now it feels like a proof of concept, which is missing more meat around the bone.

The PSN requirement was dropped, But the game is still unavailable in around 180 countries. This is unacceptable, if PSN requirements have been removed, then these countries should be re-enlisted. I do not recommend you buy this game until all the final traces of SONY's idiocy have been corrected.

I really enjoy this game and I do think you should buy it if you enjoy dogfighting arcade games. BUT BE WARNED, this game has a design choice that in my opinion makes no sense: the complete exclusion of checkpoints. This means that if you are playing a challenging mission and for some reason die, you have to repeat the entire thing. And this can become quite frustrating, especially since some missions can carry on for an extremely long time. I understand that the developer wanted to make you consider every move you make, but there are cases where in-game you can't see where you are flying, you crash into the water, and you have to repeat an entire 30 minute operation. They should have just put in an option to enable checkpoints for players who maybe want them within missions. Aside from that, everything else is top notch.

After seeing SSeth's video, I told myself "Eh what the hell...". Boy I'm glad I bought it.
