After fully finishing the game at 70 hours whilst still having missed piles of content, I can definitely recommend. I think I can safely say it's ruined other open-world RPG games for me with the amount of detail sewn into the universe.

It's not going to hold your hand, it's undoubtedly going to make you angry, but the quality is next to none. I plan on finishing another playthrough before the DLC comes out.

There's something truly special about this game. At about 90 hours now and it's easily one of the best purchases I've ever made, so much so that I bought it a second time on the Switch. That fact that it's only £20 is a steal, I would have happily paid £50 for this game.

Quick rundown: it's an action/roguelike with the aim of murdering everything to become more powerful, in an attempt to murder stronger things. You pick up items which can do anything from increase your attack speed and health, to making ever attack explode or being able to crush everything in the area by jumping. A multitude of enemies (and variations on those enemies), bosses, items and levels all of which are beautifully handcrafted and accompanied by a gorgeous soundtrack. The developers have put a lot of work into making this game something special and polished. This is a far better experience than the vast majority of AAA games at the moment and it really shows.

Early Access Review
RTS games usually tire me out quickly but this game has something compelling about it that makes me want to keep on playing. Whilst only in early access, this doesn't feel like it's lacking too much in terms of actual gameplay. I've yet to actually reach the top-tier units and buildings due to how challenging the game is even on an accessible difficulty. Multiplayer would be an excellent addition and there are obviously odd bugs and the like to fix but so far, I'm loving this game to pieces.

This review could change with time but hopefully, it will only improve. Keep it up devs!

I'm seeing a lot of mixed reviews on this but I honestly say I love it. The setting is that you are a cat-burglar in a steampunk london tasked with hijacking an AI being developed in Scotland Yard to put yours (and fellow thieves) exploits to an end. You start off in the slum areas stealing small amounts of money, working your way up to areas with higher gain (as well as risk). The money you steal can be used to upgrade your skills and tools as well as slowing down the deployment of the AI. If you are caught or killed on a heist, you will assume the role of a new thief from there onwards.

PROs:
- Art design is gorgeous and unique
- Sound design is excellent (music and sound effects alike)
- Each level is procedurally generated so you will never have the same experience twice
- The variety of skills and tools give you more options for carrying out heists
- The variety of enemies keep heists interesting and keep you on your toes
- The gameplay is tense, thrilling and for the most part, very smooth

CONs:
- The procedural generation can cause you to become stuck or completely unable to collect any profit. It needs some refinement to take the players available tools and skill into account.
- Hitting enemies doesn't always connect. I found myself swinging at enemies whilst clearly in range and nothing happening only for them to turn around and run me down within a moment. This can be really frustrating if you have just worked for 15 minutes to clear a level of cash only to be killed because of a BS moment like that.
- The controls definitely need work. The fact they released this game a year and a half ago and still haven't resolved the occasional clunkiness of the controls really surpises me. There have been several moments where I have hit the jump or attack buttons only for nothing to happen until the second (sometimes third) hit of the button.

Overall, the game is very enjoyable and utilises a beautiful setting with some interesting mechanics. You feel compelled to continue on and complete your objective before your 100 days are up as well as a great deal of satisfaction for clearing a heist out. Although, it is apparent that the developers failed to fine-tune some mechanics. I am compelled to recommend this game though on the basis that I enjoyed it and got my moneys worth.

Early Access Review
Not had a lot of time on this so far but I'll give an early review as I can really see myself playing this A LOT more.

Pros:
- Gorgeous graphics, the planets and player models look amazing
- Outright fun to play especially with friends
- Easy to understand crafting system
- Personally found it quite relaxing to play and wonder around the planets collecting supplies
- Intuative inventory and building system, doesn't take much throught to understand or pick up

Cons:
- Quite buggy (especially the landing craft)
- Occasional crashes
- Occasional framerate drops

All in all though, it's entertaining and seems to be updated on a regular basis. Could be a good example of early access done right if they stay the pace and pay attention to what the community is saying.

Keep it up devs!

Early Access Review
How does a company with over 250 employees not have the time or staff to actually get this out of alpha?

Just buy Arma 3 and mod it

OK, so you know pretty much everything missing at launch? Yeah it's all here now. They didn't give up on the game and gave us just about everything we wanted. For clarity, this all should have been in here from the start but they've delivered on their promises. I can forgive what has happened but I feel this should have been in early access for the last two years.

For clarity, the following features have been added post launch:
- Base building (re-worked with the most recent update, allowing you to build collaboratively and almost endlessly)
- Exocrafts
- Multiplayer (true cooperative play with up to four players in which you are automatically grouped to the same system)
- Freighters (with the ability to build within them)
- Missions
- Fleets (that you can summon to assist you in missions)
- Overhaul of the minerals/elements system (it's more complex and makes crafting and progression a lot more interesting)
- A third person view mode as well as the pre-existing first person view mode
- Character customisation
- A massive graphical overhaul (it really does look incredible)
- And finally, a massive number of patches along the way

There are a couple of ways at looking at this. Hello Games could be doing all of this to secure future sales and save face, or they could be doing this because they genuinely want our forgiveness and to make good on all the promises they put forward originally. This is reinforced by the fact that there will now be weekly content and community events. I'd say it's worth forgiving.

-Get raided in the night for three nights in a row due to crimewave
-Pavlo and Roman get badly wounded as a result
-Send out Marko to get bandages from a hospital
-Marko becomes depressed because we stole from the hospital
-Nobody can do anything because they're either depressed, wounded, or both
-Pavlo dies from wounds
-Marko runs away in the night
-Roman dies from wounds
-What have I done

8/10 would cry again
