I recalled playing this game a while back, and I remember it stuttering like crazy every 10 seconds, like it was on a timer. Now in 2024, I decided to give it another chance... Yeah, this game is so bad, that it will not even open. I've tried to restarting my PC, driver reinstall, clearing cache, etc. Still, this pos will not boot. This game is literally a waste of hard drive space.

Fun game with optimization issues, and an update cycle slower than pouring molasses in the winter. Takes literal years between updates. As of 8/26/2024, still waiting on build 42 to come out. Build 41 came out in December of 2021...

I've tried to load this game multiple times, and it just gets stuck on "connecting" not to mention the vast majority of the content is blocked behind a pay wall, which, on day one, was not in the description, but yet the glazers are out in full force defending the game. We get it, you guys have no life, and are willing to die for the game.

Edit: After finally getting the game to work, I can, it's pretty meh. The combat is really clunky, so clunky that it feels like Elder Scrolls III, a game that came out in 2002.

Good game, but has some issues.
My main issue with the game, is the abundance of spell effects and enemy and friendly units that clutter the screen, making it difficult to see enemies queuing attacks that you really need to avoid in order to mitigate incoming big damage.

Other than the former, this game is pretty fun and looks great.

I got the game for free and I still want my money back.
1st, game is locked to 60fps in 2024
2nd, it's because it is not well optimized for no better than it looks, hence why the locked the game to 60fps. 12000 series intel and amd 5700xt should not be seeing frame drops from 60 on a game like this.
3rd, it's pretty repetitive, with damage sponges for enemies
4th, the enemies just look dumb. Pretty much floating blob variants.
5th, behaviour (this is kinda mean, but they just keep putting out half baked games/content, it's getting kinda sad and I'm starting to feel embarrassed for them)

Steam tells me that I have played this game. I don't remember ever playing it. Must not be all that great if it's not memorable. I also hear from other reviews that the game is pay to win and grindy af.

I want to like it, but the optimization is pretty poor. I have a pretty recent cpu, and this game just destroys it. It's impossible to hold consistent 120fps on low settings, because of it, and I'm not spending $400 for a cpu upgrade to be able to enjoy this game. It's good, but not so good it's worth upgrading just for it. Maybe one day they will do an optimization pass, but until then, I would avoid unless you want to play this game at 60fps.

Edit: HEYYYYY! Six months later and this game has went from 120k average players, down to 12k average players. Now, I'm no mathematician, but that seems like a pretty big drop, and probably not good for a live service game. The game began to hemorrhage players from day one for three mains reasons. People abusing WASD, because of how stupidly strong controller aim assist was, hackers, hackers everywhere, and the game just runs like hot garbage, unless you have a $3k+ rig. The game could be doing much better if it were accessible to a larger audience. Too bad the devs prioritized flash over function. Oh well, I'm sure they can milk the players they do have, for enough money before they shut the servers down and move on to their next "game".

This game is a mess and the monetization is terrible. The game tries to milk the player base for all its worth. Not to mention as of Jan 1, 2024, there has been a bug in the game where lobbies will not be filled and it has been this way since the start of Dec 2023. Devs dropped a patch then said F it. It has been a problem since day one of the patch. They were however able to keep updating the store though. Priorities am I right?
