This game had been on my list for a long time. I don't know if it's all the unrest in the real world, but it felt like the right time to pick it up (it being on sale also really helped). I don't have anything bad to say about this game I think it does a great job of bring Orwell, 1984 to life in a game. I played this over 4 days in bite size pieces about 1-2hrs, because the content can be a bit too real feelings. I hope more people play or read Orwell, 1984. I used to think surveillance wasn't such a bad thing when I was younger, but a lot of that was because I was a child. I didn't have a say in how my life was run. But now it brings with it a bunch of feelings; this feeling of never doing the social right thing, always having to make sure I am in line with political ideals shared by the majority, and never being allowed to fully express my ideas without consequences. I hope that surveillance on the scale of Orwell never comes to fruition.

Why am I addicted to this game? Oh yeah... I LOVE cleaning up messes. I do it for a living so why wouldn't I want to in a game? Haha! But really this game scratches an itch I didn't know existed when I am gaming. I have purchased all the DLC except the new pets one. And I can't wait to get my hands on the pets DLC!

Graveyard keeper is one of my top favorite farming sims. Awhile back when I first started playing I ran into a huge game breaking bug where I lost many hours which made me salty towards the game for a few months. But when I picked it up and finally restarted my game I feel in love all over again. I have all but one DLC and I think they all add so much to the game. I haven't even finished the base game and I have put 127 hrs in, which should speak to how much I love it.

Yes, the game can feeling like all your are doing is grinding at times, but what farming sim doesn't? The on thing that make the grind worth it, at least for me, is the story progression and automating everything. There is nothing more enjoyable then having a fully automated graveyard. <3

Thank you devs for continuing to pour love into this game. I know I will even buy the lastest DLC and whatever other new thing you guys put out there.

I like that the devs want to be creative with farming sims, but the use of multiple different currencies gets exhausting after awhile. There are also a couple of hiccups when it comes to dialog, where it says I am speaking and my character is making movements but the dialog should be coming from a different character, making it hard to follow the story and who is really talking.

The pros that I really liked about the game is how cute it is, how smooth the movement of your character, how easy it is to click on things and do actions, and the corgi. But even after all this I wouldn't recommend this to any of my fellow farming sim lovers.

I doubt I will keep playing this game now that I have found Grandpa because having a whole new area just means more traveling time and I already felt I spent half the game walking around instead of the fun things I liked. To go back to the multiple types of currencies, is It was hard to make money (unless you spam fishing, selling fish, buying seaweed, and cooking a fish dish, then selling it -this is very boring though-), and all the different types of money rules this game. I know the devs did this to be different, but I would like liked to just have one type of money so I didn't have to run around trading with everyone to get the one product I wanted in the first place. I get there will be some grind in a farming sim, but this game took grinding to an all new level.

Got this in Humble Choice's May 2022 games. I would say the game has a few bugs here and there but the dev team is very active. They continue to update and fix things as they surface. Over all the game is a nice survival town building game. I really like the add Specialists and world wandering mechanics. I can't wait to see what they add next.

Before I end this review, there was one thing I didn't like about the game. Metal can be a pretty rare thing to find, and it's needed in a lot of builds which can cause a bottleneck effect in the game. But I have seen many people in the discussions talking about how they like this because it adds a difficulty to the game that many other survival games don't. And if you even get tired of not having enough metal you can always play a custom game where you can control almost every aspect of the world.

Got this game in Humble Choice a few months ago. After spending a good 13ish hours playing I can say this game is fun, if you like long build times and badly built minion handling. If you are looking for a good survival along the same line as The Survivalists, that have an -ACTIVE- develop team that is still adding new things, I would give Don't Starve Together a look.

The biggest con that ruins this game for me is the monkeys, and they are supposed to be helpful. There is no recall button for when your monkey wander off. They constantly move around so it can be hard to equip them, they don't do tasks efficiently. It would have been better to control the monkeys with a task menu; like being able to assign a monkey to work at a specific table and things like that. Also, I couldn't for the love of god get any of my monkeys to place materials in a box, even though it's a task the game says they can do.

After playing Longest Journey this game felt disappointing. The one positive thing was there were significantly less glitches (although the one about having to hold alt+tab when a character is going through a door during cut scenes or hiding, killed me on the inside).

The story just isn't as thrilling, and the constant switching between characters the closer you got to the end of the game after completing one thing felt exhausting and unneeded. I won't critique how the characters all look lifeless, because I get that was what they were working with back in 2006. BUT I was very sad that the voice acting had gone from funny and enjoying to boring; every character seemed to have zero emotional investment in the story. The game also created more questions than it ever answered, which is frustrating when you think about the next game being released 8 years later. Lastly, April Ryan's character change was extremely drastic and disappointing to me. I get that she would be self centered and unwilling to help save the world again after the last game. But her voice acting and the way they changed her character model was just plain garbage. She went from being a unique character to a covered head to toe black/beige nothing.

I am hoping Dreamfall: Chapters writes the wrongs this game made.

So I have to start off saying this game was good, but I can't in good faith recommend it to anyone in its current form. The game is extremely glitchy, and the only way to fix some of the glitches is by downloading a mod. The mod doesn't fix everything though. The two major glitches I ran into that killed the gameplay for me were that I couldn't overwrite any previous saves without the game crashing, and that whenever I would try to close the game it would crash. I would suggest finding a different platform to play this game from or if you're a big enough nerd on and older computer/windows operator the was current for the time the game was released (1999).

Not Tonight is a lot like Papers Please. It a high stress game where you aren't given enough time to do all the things you want. I honestly love it, but it probably isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Wow! A female version of Reigns? Now I didn't buy this game at full price, because I was pretty sure it would just be a carbon copy of the orginal Reign, which although I loved it I also felt like I didn't need a copy just to have a change in gender. But! This game is not a carbon copy it still has the mechanic of 'yes' and 'no' answers, but the plot is different and interesting at least what I have seen so far. It has more of a scary sort game feel to it, with shakey screens and ominous converstations with unknown beings. I won't go much more into the plot, just buy it and figure it out for yourself; it's a great purchase at only $2.99.
