I've been playing on and off for 9 years. I'm so OG, I don't have it on steam, but their launcher and I have around 1K hours. There was a recent April Fools event that let you try out some high tier tanks and helis that I actually wasn't able to play because my account was compromised by some russian, and support took a whopping 15 DAYS to get my account back to me. Why am I mentioning this? Because I had a homie that really enjoyed this event and I at the very least got to try it through making a whole new account. This event felt as if there was some relief to grinding this game because after 9 YEARS of on and off playing, I still don't have an M1A1 Abrams. The event was enough to get me to come back for just a bit, but after it all ended and I finally got my MAIN account back and working, I realized it's going to be another year or two before I can get from my 7.7 tanks to 10.0. The ONLY tree I have almost maxed out is the American Aviation line, and that's only because my only way of consistently generating Silver lions to buy anything is to dogfight with the $60 F-5C I bought like two years ago. Would I recommend this game? No. Not unless you want to drop $100's playing one country, with premium, over and over again, for 2 years straight playing at least 2 hours a day. This game is just a money pit now. Like who has time to grind out all the new vehicles coming out unless you have a premium vehicle. And even than you're grinding so much. Probably doomed to the same fate as the other F2P games like WoT and ♥♥♥. Another small thing is their "tips." one of the tips while loading into games is literally "Too many missions? This is what you signed up for pilot!" which is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke. I don't know who thought adding this "tip" in the game will somehow encourage people to continue playing. It just irritates me.
