Fun enough. Just cringe at all the crappy AI assets

2 years after release I'm constantly brought back to my initial issue. This UI on this is absolutely terrible. The nesting, the weird popup tabs. Every single event being at the bottom corner of the screen, the inability to organise things on the side bar or ledger... Like good lord, what exactly is wrong with pop ups? So you end up struggling through a ♥♥♥♥ UI for a game that frankly is just boring. Cookie clicker is free, and has deeper mechanics, so just go play it.

Interesting environment. Pity it's held down by slow pacing (christ the start of the game is bad, with flashbacks every 3 steps), slow walk speed, slow and clunky animations and object interaction, stilted dialogue, poor optimisation and bugs out the ass.

I really really enjoy this game. It's a lot of fun, and I'll recommend it when everything works properly. But right now there are so many bugs that you have to quicksave constantly to avoid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ yourself over (though that can screw you over too when a guard on the other side of the map decides to sound the alarm over nothing).

Mines not placing, bodies not being lootable until you pick them up and drop them, guards perma alerted, dogs covering half the map to investigate a body they've found 5 times already (christ, the dog bugs in general), stacks not merging, morale not working, really weird frame chugging in the inventory menu along with a heap of others i can't be bothered typing out.

This is a really good game, it's got an idea and it executes it well... just maybe wait a while before actually buying it.

Fun with friends

Nice job breaking the game again paradox, both play and stability wise. As usual they've added mechanics and locked half of them behind a paywall while making the other half detrimental to your experience without the paid content. I've experienced a heap of crashes and freezes, and when i do get to play a campaign the new resistance system is utterly cancer. Do no buy, and if you're really set on getting it wait for a sale or at least for them to patch the nonfunctional ♥♥♥♥.

I will never understand how modders for paradox titles do a better job at it that the paid employees of this company.

Unfun, grindy, uninteractive and most of all utterly boring. Doesn't matter if you get it free, its not worth the time

An amazing addition to an already fantastic and meta game. While I'm glad they gave it for free for owners of the base game, I'm pretty sure after playing through it I'd be pretty happy paying for it. Really hope there's still an eventual chance for the changelings story too

This game is amazing. Painful, but with a purpose, and thus amazing. Please go in blind.



I will say this game has some serious performance issues. However, if you increase its RAM allowance (https://steamoss.com/app/505230/discussions/0/1653297026036591934/) and place it on an SSD if you have one available, the game will run incredibly smoothly
