I think people just need to try the game out for themselves instead of reading negative reviews and thinking it's a bad game. Based off one person's option.
for me p2w means: any system where a player can purchase something that is not superficial or cosmetic.
real money -> In-game benefits. that simple.
best thing to do is to compare to the biggest titles in the same genre. lets say WoW for example. they sell only services and cosmetics. strictly nothing to help you in game.
"P2W" assumes that there's absolutely no progression without paying, not true, you can get anywhere in the game without them, it's just faster and easier buying "no risk" cash items.
Your easy early and mid game statement is countered by your endgame claim, you dislike the easy difficulty til you reach endgame then claim it's "P2W" is it the challenge or jealousy of faster progression, they aren't using anything that you can't earn yourself over time, put that effort into striving for your perfect end game char, isn't it always better to be able to say, yea i earned this through hard work, grinding, and determination without needing to throw my money around?
You don't have to "pay to get better" lol. It's just more of a leeway for yourself. Which in general, sucks donkey ass. At the end of the game, just ask whales to carry as usual lel. It's more crazy to me someone would stay outside just to look pretty vs a whale.
