I liked the original game a lot, and while a lot of criticisms for it were just misunderstandings, i could at least understand the complaints about the gameplay. But now with IV, I feel like all of those complaints have been fixed completely. Everything is so much more polished and just generally fun. I thought that with the original game, the things that really stood out quality-wise were the visuals and soundtrack, but now IV makes the gameplay and cutscenes match that quality perfectly

If you played the original version of YIIK and didn't enjoy it, or have just heard bad things about YIIK, i really really strongly recommend you play IV when it fully releases. It'll show you the things you missed about the original game, because i can guarantee that you missed its real story
