Been really enjoying my time with this game coming from the TCG. Here a quick summary of my thoughts on the game.

Positives:
- If you have never touched Yugioh, out of the loop, or a recent returning player, you can immediately get up to speed with a lot of the complicated mechanics in the tutorials given.
- Lots of free staples and gems for completing missions, tutorials and unlocking cards
- Great deals given to spend your gems in the special bundles in the shop. Secret packs are also amazing to help players to focus on archetypes they want to build (just craft/unlock an SR/UR for that archetype to unlock).
- Great crafting system to unlock new cards and get rid of bulk cards
- Lots of great customisation to change card sleeves, field, and companion
- Animations are well done, helping to signify significant game state changes
- The sound tracks are strong in this game as well

Negatives:
- Lots of the most needed cards are hard to pull and craft (some are not though however)
- Secret packs have a limited window on when you can buy them, which can be reset, seems unnecessary to expire them in a 24 hour cycle
- Pack RNG can be very bad, although a pity timer exists for the 10 pack option, where if no UR is pulled the next 10 packs bundle you get will include one, but this can be very costly for gems.
- Ranked decks already have most of the competitive cards thanks to the ease of crafting, so expect a high difficulty curve in pvp
- The game uses the TCG/OCG forbidden list, most of it from the OCG, which means Maxx C is at 3 in this games format. There are also a few other significant changes that may please or annoy players so look into this before committing to any decks you may make.
- Slight pauses in between actions on the main menu screen.

Conclusion:

Overall, Master Duel is a step in the right direction for the Yugioh TCG. Presentation for the game is solid, with a great system in place to help you craft your first deck. You will most likely find yourself short on a few cards if building a full competitive deck, but the game provides so many ways to obtain gems that you will likely be able to craft the cards you really need.

It will be interesting to see how Konami updates the forbidden list as well as whether getting gems will be as generous as it is now.

Runner 3 follows on from its predecessor, and attempts to better it counterpart by providing new graphics and more mechanics. Unfortunately this is to its detriment in places, I will discuss this below but first the positives.

The Good:
- The game looks gorgeous, with cinematic's that are a step up for the series.
- Each world feels unique with its own sense of charm and style, this is partly thanks to the brilliant soundtrack that the series never disappoint on.
- It adds new mechanics and provides harder levels than the previous games.
- Hero's quest is an interesting addition to the game and gives you an incentive to revisit levels.

The Bad:
- One of the earliest problems I found in the game was the change in camera angle. It completely takes you by surprise and will make you have to start at the last checkpoint again, causing unnecessary frustration.
- New mechanics make the game harder in a detrimental way, where it has become more frustrating than rewarding. Examples include hard manoeuvres in vehicle stages, use of double jump, having to slide mid air at points etc.
- Cinematic's explaining lore in the game are hidden behind collectables. I personally think this should of been done differently, as it becomes more of a chore to get a reward at the end of each world rather than having something that could be enjoyed immediately.
- New impossible stages provide a fiendish new challenge that will not be for everyone, but perhaps this will be more of a positive to hard core fans of the series.
- The game loses the block mechanic from runner 2. Not sure why this was taken out as it feels missing when playing from runner 2.
- Retro levels were overall meh, but an interesting detour from the usual levels.

The Ugly:
- I experienced soft locking on cannon bonus. If you miss the target completely, sometimes the falling animation continues indefinitely.

Conclusion:
Runner 3 provides an interesting take on a sequel to runner 2, but falls short due to its new mechanics, change in camera angles and a few bugs here and there. Despite the amount of bad points I have made about the game, there a fun charming adventure here, as long as you are up for the trials ahead of you.

6/10

Based off of popular game shows like Wipeout and Takeshi's Castle, Fall Guys is a fun, multiplayer minigame battle royale. However the game has a few faults at the current time of this review which I will outline below.

The Bad:

- There will be points where your guy will randomly stagger which can cause losses. This can be reduced by diving but it seems inconsistent at times.

- Team games can be incredibly frustrating as well, as when you perform your best you could be dragged down by the rest of the team. Again this can be compensated by having a squad of friends with you as they will be on your team, which may be difficult for some.

- Lastly the pushers, there will be players that will actively try to throw you off games which can be very frustrating. This can also happen for player collisions as well, although this can be reduced by learning shortcuts and tricks to avoid being pushed.

The Good:

- Having said all that, the amount of variety in the game is good and there seems to be an interest in the developer to expand, improve and adjust games in the future.

- Although it may not interest everyone, the customisation options is also great, and has minimal micro-transactions, where you have to earn cosmetics with either Kudos (the normal currency that you earn) or crowns (acquired through winning the whole game).

- The music and visuals is great and sells the idea that the game is centred around a game show.

The Ugly:

- Currently there are a few hackers running around, where they may randomly speed through levels or fly in the air. Wall exploits have also existed and seem to be patched currently, but this could be an issue that could be reintroduced in the future.

- Some game modes as stated before can be very frustrating. To name a few: tip toe, hoarders and egg scramble adopt a play style where a scapegoat is needed to either win or improve your chances of victory.

- Cosmetics costing crowns can also be very disheartening for players who are very casual, and will lock out these players for some of the cosmetics on offer.

Conclusion:

Overall, fall guys is a very fun experience, and introduces a new battle royale genre. However if you hate platforming and team games, this may not be for you. Score: 6/10

Probably the most unique game I have played in a while. This is mostly due to it's interesting style of humour, puzzle like gameplay and a good story that allows you to craft what your ending becomes.

As a side note the game's music is very pleasant and is very well done. The graphic's, although not impressive, is pleasant enough and allows for some retro aspect to shine out into the game.

The "Act" and "Spare" mechanic of the game provides enough variety in which you can help to spare every NPC you come across, or just "Fight" just about everything off. As the game provides either option you can throughout the game always feel you have the power to be a pacifist or just kill everyone off at all points of the game. Attacks from enemies can also be dodged in a top down shooter style of gameplay, making fights more varied and less dull as more awareness is needed.

At certain points the game does get tricky, but it is a good challenge but may not be for everyone, and at points got me frustrated.

In conclusion because of how unique the combat is in undertale, as well as how involving the story is on the characters in the game, I would recommend anyone who has any interest in JRPG's to try the demo for Undertale. 8/10

Not really much of a game, as it does not feel like much, yet it is enjoyable. Perhaps I like this game not for the story or the gameplay but the atmoshere it has with all of it's focus on rock and roll. Having said that it is hard to play again when it hardly compells you with weak multiplayer and gameplay. However if you need some lyrical madness that will hopefully last you 10 hours or so this is your kind of game. Just don't expect challenging interesting gameplay, that develops (or much multiplaying involved).

This game is such a pain, but is a joy to play with such catchy music and a sense of accomplishment. If static platforming and high scores is what your interested, this game will be for you. If not it can be difficult to like this game.

If tim burton was to make and design games I am pretty sure this is what he would of made. Three words, dark survival horror, ok it's not very scary but it is not for the faint hearted. Go in causiously if dark games are not your thing, however it is very fun and always gives that moment of maybe I can survive a bit longer. Challenging and very good, but it does become time consuming...

At it's core it is a solid game with classes that seem over powered but are countered by other classes due to different strengths and weaknesses. It's not a game you can really get first time playing, but once you have worked out how to use weapons it's so much fun. And that's only a part of tf2, there's trading, servers with mods as well as training for rocket jumps and its always constantly being updated. You have NO EXCUSE to not try this game. I am sure you won't be disappointed.
