Whatever made doom DOOM, is also in this DOOM. Only difference is it's 3D and doesn't have 1993 graphics. Mind you I bought it on sale for some 6-7usd, and that's a great price for what you get. Could be easily worth some 20.

Good:
1 - Climate
2 - Feel
3 - Yes you ARE the horror, we've heard this already.
4 - Game keeps reminding you that you're not immortal and invulnerable, while also providing tools to feel like the vengeance on rollerskates. With guns.
5 - Basically everything in this game is designed with a player in mind, so that you get help when needed but are never annoyed by it, nor is it particulary easy.
6 - The story, somehow, while having to be written for a "Here's a gun, you're superpowered, go shot up hell", is interesting, does not anyhow contradict what we knew about DOOM already, and is actually pretty interesting! I've read all the bits of information I could find.

Bad:
1 - Despite green lights usually pointing where to go, there are several open areas with many paths and reasons to backtrack in some instances, which made me genuinely lost for some good 3-5 minutes walking aimlessly.
2 - Mancubus glory kills seem to be limited to two, with front and above being the same animation, which got really repetitive after a few dozen. Rest was more varied.
