Great game. But it's hard even on Standard difficulty which is frustrating from time to time but it's allright that's how it was back then. There are some unwinnable maps unless you do some cheating but that's what cheat codes are for right? :D So get it while you can and play it.

The game is really good. The difficulty varies from mission to mission. For instance on one mission the AI leaves you alone for the entirety of mission and you build your army and attack, On some missions the AI attacks very aggressively and you don't even have a town center yet. Sometimes your troops intertwine with eachother and can't move and it's frustrating and sometimes the game crashes without any reason. I'd played this when it was first released in 1997 and forgotten how hard it was. So I give this 8/10 and that's because of crashes and troopes intertwining with eachother.
