Bad game

They fixed this glitch after 2 years and lying that it couldn't be done, GG Tripwire.
First and foremost FIX THE DSHK GLITCH - IF YOU DIE WITH IT IN YOUR INVENTORY IT DOES NOT RESPAWN!

A hardcore mod was recently whitelisted by the devs for implementation, 2 years after release.

This is a realistic series of games.
This game came out with no hardcore/realism setting.
To reduce the "no hardcore" survivability bandages were limited to 1. (Around a year after release)
Unlike the other games in the series, max ammo is what you spawn with, no more picking up 7 extra clips at the cost of mobility. (Except for LMG which picks up an ammo belt and a phantom grenade at ammo points)
Unlike the previous games primary and handguns are limited to 1 per slot. (The Aussie Grenadier can have 2 primaries.)
Also the wave spawn timer was removed. This seems like the dumbest change from previous games by far as it obviously removes the wavelike tide of battle that would be produced by a realistic deployment of reinforcements.

All of that could be fixed with a hardcore mode, but there are other problems with this game.

The game lags when you die to check if you killed whatever killed you first. As a result of this trade kills are removed from the game, but how can this work if it takes .099s for an m16 bullet to travel 100m? The M16A1 in game fires 750 rpm so 1.25 bullets are in the air once the target is hit. That means if your first shot misses you have the second shot to kill your target regardless even if you are already dead, but after 2000 hrs I have yet to see a bullet trade. Even a headshot won't magically remove a finger from the trigger and it certainly won't pull bullets out of the air.

Only 1 new vehicle since launch and it's basically a reskin of the huey, no ground vehicles. There is a big mod that has an APC, but as of writing this, is not compatible with the current version of the game.

I recommend this game all the time IRL and continue to play because it is the best FPS out right now, but I will not here because of a lack of realism is a realistic series.

What an expansive game for such a simple concept. Even without mods this game plays for hours.
