Early Access Review
An absolutely breathtaking experience with the ability to easily navigate a scientifically accurate + procedurally generated universe. I can't recommend it enough because it's definitely my go to for a universe exploration. You are easily able to search systems around your location via filters, click any star and go, or search for any object. Additionally, it's pretty easy to alter visuals of the environment and lighting to tweak your experience to how you want.

I've been using Space Engine 0.980 for some time now and even that is excellent. There are some noticable changes from that version. The solar system chart is much easier to see the architecture of a system and organize. The UI in general is crisper and just feels better overall. The locations manager is also better because you see a mini screenshot of the view of the saved location as a thumbnail like an album instead of just a list. You can also take a screenshot using the UI now as well as the normal keyboard shortcut and can easily change the type to .png, .jpg or whatever without having to go into local files to change it. I would also say that the terrain generation is better giving more varied detail & interstellar space is less hazy with overall significant graphics improvement. Also the jets from quasars are now a thing.

Takeaway: A stunningly beautiful universe for you to easily explore with just your fingertips

Does the game look all cutesy? Yes
Will you play for an hour and not understand it? Probably
Is it really a horror game? Yes, but be patient
(Just wait until after the festivall)

My personal opinoin is that I believe this game is perhaps one of the most creative and well done games I have played in a while. Something done like this in a couple decades with some particular future technologies would make this game infitinely more terrifying.

But don't worry if you don't love the game
Because the game already loves you
